chapter twelve

"well, well, well," billy stepped into the house, katrina behind him. she was quick to walk over to the kids, standing in front of them, protectively, "lucas sinclair, what a surprise." he slammed the door shut.

"i thought i told you to stay away from him, max," he said, turning toward his stepsister.

"go away, billy."

"you disobeyed me," billy growled, "and you know what happens when you disobey me."

"billy...." katrina warned.

"i break things," all of a sudden, he turned around and pinned lucas to the wall.

"billy! stop it! stop! billy!" max yelled as everyone began screaming at him.

"billy stop it!" katrina shouted, shoving the other three teens behind her.

"jesus christ, lucas!" dustin called.

"get off of me you-" lucas shrugged against his grip.

"since maxine won't listen to me, maybe you will," billy started, "you stay away from her. stay away from her you hear me?!" he shouted in lucas' face.

"i said get off of me!" lucas shouted and kicked billy right in the balls, making him let go and stumble back.

lucas ran back over and the teens all hugged him. katrina looked at billy with sad eyes. she can't believe this is the true him, the boy she's been in love with these past few weeks.

"you're dead, sinclair!" billy shouted, "dead!"

"stop it, billy," the girl begged, walking up to him, "please stop."

"i didn't only come here for you, princess."

steve walked up behind billy, shoving him a little, "no," he shook his head, making the boy turn around, "you are," he finished and punched billy across the face.

"steve!" katrina screamed, backing away, tears rolling down her cheeks.

billy stood up again, laughing like a maniac, "looks like you got some fire in your after all, huh?" he laughed, "i've been waiting to meet this king steve everyone's been telling me so much about."

"get out," steve ordered and pushed billy away from him slightly, but billy swung his fist at him.

steve ducked down and threw a punch back at billy, hitting him square in the jaw, making him fall onto a table.
