I was getting impatient. Every minute felt like an hour. Only five minutes more and school will be dismissed. I'll be able to play games with Felix.
It's Friday, game play evening. After the bell rang I ran out of the classroom. Felix must be waiting in front of the school gate for more than 40 minutes.
He has less classes than me on Friday. As expected he was indeed waiting,arm crossed over his chest.
"I don’t understand why you have Physics class on Friday," he said,rolling his eyes.
"I can't help" I replied showing as much hate as Felix showing towards Physics. We both are bad at Physics so we never liked this subject.
"Let's gour" he beamed. I nodded,following an enthusiastic Felix.
"You look extra excited," I said. He is always a happy virus, smiling his best smile but today was different. He looked extra happy.
"I'll tell you after we go home," he said.
We talked about some random things while walking to his house. He unlocked the door.
"My parents will be late today so we can play more than usual," he informed. He threw his bag somewhere in the living room.
I placed my bag on the couch. I sat there turning on the tv.
Felix made his way to the kitchen to grab some snacks. He came back with chips and soda on his both hands.
"So can we play smash bros first then we'll play whatever you want" he suggested.
"Okay" I agreed
He gave me a controller and took another one for him.
"Why do you always choose Daisy?" I deadpanned.
"I'm letting you take Peach," he said .
"Thanks" I face palmed. "Ah wait!" I suddenly remember Felix is supposed to tell me something. He looked at me to continue whatever I had to say.
"You said you'd tell me why you were so happy today" I said.
"Oh right!" He turned his face from the tv screen and looked at my side.
He cleared his throat before speaking. A smile made its way to his lips.
"Remember I went on a blind date last week?" he asked. I nodded. Of course I remember.
We both decided to try that. Mine didn't go well somehow.
"Yes she texted me yesterday asking if I'm free on this Saturday" he replied.
Oop my heart did a flip flop. I was probably sad about the fact that his date went well but my date sucked.
But as a best friend I should be happy. "That's good," I told him. "You don't look excited," he remarked.
"It's your date not mine. But good luck" I said.
"But if I mess this time what will I do?" he asked.
"No idea. Cry?" I suggested. He let out a chuckle.
"No idiot"
"But there's a problem, " he said. I frowned. "If- I'm saying 'if' she leans forward for a kiss, what will I do?!" as he let out his words his cheeks started getting red. He let out a squeal like fangirls.
I rolled my eyes. "You'll kiss her" I replied.
He shook his head. "You're not getting that. I have never kissed before. I don’t know what to do" he said
His cheeks became brighter red than before. "Why are you blushing. I know you haven’t kissed before" I yelled seeing him covering his face with his hands.
