Chapter 2

Skylar POV :

Its been about 3 days since I moved to Denver with my family and I've been hanging out with Robin and Finn a lot and Maisie and Gwen became really close friends.

Tonight Robin and Finney were sleeping over my house so once they got to my house we were gonna walk to the grab n go and get snacks. Once the boy got we started walking to the Grab N Go. We finally got there and we had gotten all our snacks and drinks while Robin and Finney were paying I noticed a pinball machine.

I has a couple quarters on my so I decided to play while I waited a couple minutes passed and I had lost the game but I noticed i beat the high score the last high score was 96,000 and know it was 97,382 I turned around to see the guys. "Oh hi guys i didnt notice you guys behind-" before i could finish Robin grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the corner store and i kinda got butterflies. Before we could go any farther i stopped and yanked my hand away "what the hell was that for why'd drag me out of there?" I finished. Robin and Finney looked at each other then at me "No one is aloud to touch the pinball machine that pinball vances machine he will beat up and one who touched it" Robin said. I wondered who Vance "pinball" Hopper was.

I had heard a little bit about him and that he was a trouble maker always getting in to fight. I had really only seen him once and but he was just getting dragged by the police what a first impression huh. "We saved you cause who knows when he would have came back to the store and if he saw you on his machine he would have seriously hurt you." Finn said.

We started to walk back to my house as we were walking we just started to talk about random stuff "Hey skylar why do you and Maisie look different then your older brother Kai?" Robin asked. Oh the question I get asked a lot so does Maisie "Well Kai is me and Maisie older half brother we have the same mom different dads thats why." I said. 

We finally reached my house as we entered I noticed Maisie and Gwen weren't home I called Gwens house phone just to make sure they were safe. Gwen answered "Hey Gwen is Maisie with you?" I asked slightly worried "Hey sky yea Maisie is with me she left a note in your room sorry if we worried you" she said. I let out a sigh relieved  they were safe. "okay gwen thanks for letting me know make sure you guys are back at my house by 5pm" she said okay and I hung up and went back to my room with some drinks I picked up from the fridge.

 I saw robin and finney arguing about what movie to watch so I took the control and put on scream 1. "Both of you shut up were watching scream" I said a little loud they both quickly nodded. We each took out our snacks we had gotten I got hot cheetos, red vines, sour gummies and robin got M&M, a kitkat and chocolate covered raisins and finney got cheetos, reeses cups, Hersey bar and sour gummies too. Once the movie finished we its was only 4 in the afternoon so we decided to walk to the park we got our shoes on and i grabbed my keys locking the door behind me and we started walking on our way there we bumped in to maisie and gwen so they just walked with us to the park as soon as we got there i ran straight to the swings "DIBS ON THE SWING" I yelled robin just laughed at me I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks. I think gwen and maisie noticed me blushing ut i shrugged it off anad continued swinging I started to slow down so I yelled for Robin " ROBIN COME PUSH ME" I yelled "OKAY COMING HOLD ON" he yelled back. He finally  came and started pushing me as soon as I was high enough i jumped off scraping my knee a little. Robin and everyone else came running to me making sure i was okay "OMG are u okay sky" robin asked "yea im fine dont worry" i said nonchalantly it was about 6 once we started heading back and gwen finney and robin were sleeping at our house for he next two night.
