Jungkook was sitting on the toilet seat, fidgeting and biting his nails out of anticipation. His denim jeans were shrunk down to his foot, resting over his hundred-dollar nikee shoes that were gifted to him on his birthday. Bold of you to assume he could afford all that over a pair of foot protectors.

He was trying to get other things to occupy his mind but as he looked around the washroom he's been using for the past three years, it all felt the same. Same peachy tiled walls, same old three in one shampoo condition and body wash. Some YouTube short had said omegas find that really unattractive, He doesn't want to talk about that at this moment. He has a lot of things in his minds that aren't supposed to be there, so that follows up with? Right, his washroom and the same old uninteresting surroundings. The only thing that was new here was the tap.tap, tap sound coming from the water droplets sliding down his tap. A leakage was exactly what he needed right now as he inhaled the very- toilety scent from his toilet.

One thing you may be wondering,
'what is all of this about, alpha boy?' did I get it right? Yeah, nothing to feel special about. The alpha had been wondering the same thing for the past fifteen minutes.

"Jungkook? Are you done in there?" oh yeah, great. Now his omega probably thinks that he's taking a big fat shit right before they leave, this must be way more unattractive than the three-in-one shampoo.

Jungkook chooses not to reply; he simply stands up while pulling his denim jeans up and walks to his sink, eyes locked with his own in the mirror. He stares at himself, his now-long hair which was parted from the middle and he had Chap Stick on. That's all effort he put into himself today, heck, he was wearing a round neck plain black tee.

De-motivation is real. He stares, stares, stares and then proceeds to make a face which holds the potential to make a two year old go hysteric and washes his hands.

The first thing he was met with when he walked out was a concerned taehyung looking too beautiful for his liking. A white cropped hoodie that said 'w rizz' in bold, inspirational. He paired it up with blue baggy jeans with his silver hair left unstyled and no makeup on. That is it, but it still seemed to bother jungkook.  Jesus, what's the special occasion to be dressed, anyways?

All they were going to do was to meet Taehyung's one and only ex who had been the cause of a really prominent inconvenience between his and the latter omegas relationship. Piece of cake, really.

One more question you may ask is 'why?' valid. Well, the omega seems to have an answer to that.

He had convinced jungkook for this by saying
'I really want to catch up with him; it's been years, alpha. And I want you to be there with me when I talk to him. I want to flaunt my man, too.'

Listen, jungkook is an adult and an alpha before anything else with high self esteem. He would have never agreed to watch his omega and his omegas ex talk and be the third wheel in his own relationship. But taehyung had used alpha and my man in the same sentence, he couldn't really say no.

"you okay koo?" taehyung furrows his eyebrows in concern.

"I wasn't shitting in there I swear." Jungkook said that so fast that he could barely hear himself.
"I'm nervous, that's all." He follows up but the blonde in front of him didn't look like he had recovered from the first statement yet.

But when he does, he giggles out loud while keeping his one hand on jungkooks shoulder as support, jungkook smiles at that too.

"It's gonna be okay, love. And remember how Lucas said he'll be brining someone special with him too, right? Don't be so paranoid." Taehyung smiles reassuringly as he cups both of jungkooks cheeks and the alpha smiles back, too. A forced one, but he does.

I'm not being fucking paranoid. I know how he looked at you back then wasn't in a 'I miss you' way.

But some words are better left unsaid and some might say that he's overreacting, on which he might agree upon but was his reaction unjustified? No. he knows that much.

'Yeah, you are right. Let's go.'

Jungkook could just fall asleep right now, literally. They had been here at this basic ass restaurant that of course, Lucas had picked for the past thirty minutes and his ears were ready to fall off any moment as the overly dressed alpha's words from the other side of the table made their way down his earlobes, blabbering about how he is now one of the best historians of London and looking at his omega, he didn't look too impressed either.

Well, for a TMI, the best part of these thirty minutes was when taehyung proudly introduced him as his boyfriend in front of the exass bitch. Or the subtle touches taehyung would pass him in between talking and ask him about his opinions on the conversations. And his favorite part was when taehyung rested his head on his shoulder and the jealous look on the exass's face was worth it. And jungkook is not delusional, he really did see it.

"Um Lucas, not be rude When is that special someone coming?" jungkook asked, voice bored and lucas had looked incredibly disturbed by the interruption. But the way taehyung spared jungkook a quick thankful glance was enough to raise both, the raven heads ego and confidence.

"Yeah, I'll go call and check. I don't know why he's getting so late." Both taehyung and jungkook nod eagerly and Lucas forces a smile as he gets up, whispers "if you'll excuse me." And walks away with his phone to his ear already.

"Oh my goooodddd." It was taehyung being the one to let out an exaggerated sigh and lean down his chair And jungkook chuckles understandingly.

Taehyung continues. "god, gukk. I SWEAR he was better than this. I feel like my ears will bleed while listening to all that bragging."

"that makes the two of us then, babe."

Taehyung smiles and composes it just as quickly.

"I need a cig."

"Shut up. You do not, you are past that."

"Yeah, I was kidding."

"Unfunny."

"says the alpha who uses a three-in-one shampoo." Okay, that was too far.

"says the omega who said the same to you when I told him to have a nice meal after serving food as my job."

"shut-" taehyungs words were left unfinished when Lucas came back jogging and looking straight at the entrance.

Naturally, both the males gazes snap in the same direction. And that's the very moment the doors opened and a short, pink haired human in a pink oversized sweater enters.

And when jungkook looked at taehyung, he knew that is not someone his omega had expected to see right now in his wildest dreams.

Authors Note
Okay, so I'm at this stage and writing THAT authors note i hate when my favourite authors do. long story short,

I think I'm drifting away from my story. Not from writing, but this story.

Doesn't mean im quitting this book or anything like that. I just want to put it in there, and i might not even stretch this book as much as i initially thought i would. Maybe 3-4 more chapters and we'll be done :)
