why is it that you cry?
why is it that you're so insecure?
if i'm so kind,
why is it that you are afraid of me?
why is it that you seem so distressed?
you thought you'd be the one to fix me,
but i think i'm unravelling swifter at the seams,
dragging you deep into the depths of my despair,
draining you of your life,
a flower victim to drought.
