Is the Be More Chill fandom still alive?

I've been stuck thinking about this one for a bit actually.

I recently got back into the fandom after maybe two years. I got into it in like 2018 and stopped liking it in the verrry beginning of 2021, but now i'm stuck wondering,

Is the Be More Chill fandom still a thing?

It's obviously reasonable for the fandom to be dead especially since yknow it's off broadway and all that, not very popular anymore, but i don't know because no fandom truly dies i mean nothing truly dies but that's something for another time. But anyways, there's obviously like someone here and there that's like "oh yeah! I know about that musical!" but no one in the fandom really makes anything anymore, but i mean i'm not looking very hard so i'm not sure. There's gotta be some people getting into it, that's something else that i think about.

There's more than likely people who are just now like in this very moment discovering the musical like at all. At least one person during this very moment is juuust discovering the fandom, the artwork, the musical in general, everything! And i find that so fascinating because it really does go to show how everyone really is moving at a different pace. Time zones don't just exist in.. time! It's almost like a form, not maturity though, but everyone's brains move and operate at entirely different paces and that's so strange because if we all developed the same way- but NO BECAUSE WE DIDNT!

Everyone is so different in each and every way and that's so like wild because if you really think about it, in a way we're like animals, and not in a way of "we have teeth like carnivores to eat meat! We have fuckin eyes like dogs but not the same sensors" i don't know, but you can get the jist of it. Everyone's different, no one's the same and that's so like weird but oddly comforting to think about in a way.

Back onto the main topic, the fandom definitely could be alive, no doubt but where? There's so many, millions and millions of people in the world, there's obviously got to be something, but the question is "what?" Most authors have abandoned their stories, most artists have changed and got a whole new pallet by now! And god i won't even bring up tumbler.

Now that we're all more grown.. and have mostly left the fandom but still like to check on ittt..

Who was out here shipping technical difficulties or wtv it was called mf computer virus? The Squip x Jeremy??
I mean shit i know i did but im wondering, who ELSE cuz i know damn well some people straight DESPISED that ship, but like why get mad at the people who do? The real villains were the ones who shipped Michael x the Squip. I will forever stand by that, till the end of time forreal.

I mean it's aight i guess but i don't know, it's just so strange to me. Maybe im just a hater i don't know, but that one just never really stuck out to me. But then again what do I know I had a fucking cringy ass Technoblade x Dream book, matter of fact it's still up because it's my most famous one and shiiiit im doin anything for clout, will it get brought up if i ever try to get a job as a writer? Fuck man maybe, but who honestly, whoole heartedly cares?? Cuz i know I don't!

Maybe it's because i do really care and deep down i fear that it WILL get brought up even though it's literally dumb as balls and why the hell would someone bring that up during an interview i mean damn imagine 20 years from now "we dug up this old story from 20 years ago where you made ONE THOUSAND AND FOUR spelling mistakes on a FOUR THOUSAND word story!" Wattpad probably won't even be around by then, speaking of which, it's already basically fading away, pretty slowly but it sure it! I'd bet that in four years time, wattpad will barley be known. Maybe tropes that originated on wattpad, but not wattpad as a whole.

That's wild to think about because we're all making memories and we don't even know it, or maybe we're trying to make memories, but why does it even matter? I mean shit we're all gonna get old and die of dementia or some stupid shit like that so why even care what happens, why care what people think, what dumb thing you did when you were younger, what stupid story you wrote. In the end, we're all gonna fuckin die! And then nothing will matter and that's the biggest lesson to learn man, that you can be a Billionaire! But that don't fuckin matter, matters now? No! Do you know who Jacob Rothschild is? If you do good on you cuz i sure fuckin don't! But does that matter? NOPE!

Anyways

Honestly Be More Chill is so weird because it feels like there's a much deeper meaning than just "Hey it's okay to be a weirdo!" I mean obviously there is, there's a deeper side to everything i could look at a tree and there's be  some crazy sentimental backstory to it! But the thing is, if you did look into Be Mora Chill, say you did find something wild! Some awesome discovery about what the musicals actually about, No one's gonna give a fuck. You're gonna be bullied by strangers on the internet man! Cuz you're a total loser for lookin into Be More Chill!

Even if they did listen its not even worth it because almost all the time people carry their own opinions, but again it's Be More Chill fans so lets me real, you're gonna be hit with the "Okay buuuut no xD" And it's just acceptable! No one ain't gon say shit if someone from the fandom hits you with that n that's wild, i mean it's funny as shit and i love that about the fandom but still.

Back to the original thought, who was fr shipping Jeremy and the Squip though like be totally honest, it's a save zone, now thinking about it I mean, i don't know how to feel. Because for one what would that even look like, no one can see the Squip so it'd just be like a crackhead! The people from new york on the trains!

But also in some cases they'll have plot convenience where the Squip turns like human n shit but like That's still awfully strange man. Because why would you wanna see BE WITH non the less something that straight up ruined your life? But then again NO. There is no "but" Because you can't say "oh it can hack his brain n make him love 'em" No because you made it a fucking HUMAN. "he could have changed," n Jeremy just.. FORGAVE IT?? But i'm a hypocrite so Oh well!
