enid was listening to the sound of the typewriter echoing through the room.

her ear was pressed against the door as she stood in the hallway.

''wednesday, open the door please.''

enid was standing in silence that was occasionally disturbed by the typewriter.

it was like that for two hours now.

she didn't see wednesday the whole morning and looks like she won't see her the whole day either.

''you locked yourself in here for the whole morning! if you don't open up soon i will be calling mrs. weems!''

enid was sure her threat worked, however after a few minutes she realized that wasn't the truth.

the door handle didn't even turn for a slight degree.

the typewriter was still making noises.

she was sure wednesday is in here.

but why didn't she open up?

''wednesday! this is your final warning!'' enid warned before knocking again.

nothing.

''fine! you made me do this!'' enid shouts before turning and heading towards mrs. weems' office.

she busted the door open.

''enid! where are your manners?'' mrs. weems asks, surprised at the girls' rage.

''miss, i'm really concerned for my roommate wednesday addams. she locked herself in our dorm and doesn't want to open the door.''

''did you two have a fight, perhaps?''

''no, miss.''

''enid, stay here and i'll call the police.''

''okay, thank you miss.'' enid bends her head down slightly and nervously fidgets with her fingers.

soon, the police sirens echoed through the school and everyone was ordered to leave the place.

everyone was outside, confused, talking to each other about what the fuck is going on.

enid was still in the principals' office, waiting for weems to come back.

to tell her that wednesday is alright and that this was just a big misunderstanding.

however, that never happened.

and her worst fears were unfolding right in front of her when she heard a gunshot pierce the hallway and her ears.

she immediately dropped the files she was reading and started running towards her dorm.

enid tried to get past the cops, but they were blocking the whole view of the room.

everything was clear when one officer yelled ''call an ambulance!''.

enid's vision started to get distorted and her hands were shaking.

''what the hell is going on with wednesday and is she alright?'' were the only questions she wanted an answer to.

the questions were spinning in her mind at such a pace that she lost track of everything.

she started to panic, her breathing was rapid and her eyes were slowly getting covered by blackness.

that was the only thing enid remembers before she was woken up by the beeping ER machine next to her bed.

she tried to move, but she couldn't.

she was strapped to her bed.

and this wasn't a regular hospital this was a psychiatric hospital.
