enid's biggest flaw is her lack of self-control. that feeling when the stress that's been building up for days finally collapses onto her, all at once. she would do anything to get rid of that feeling. she hates feeling that way.

wednesday stared at her roommate enid as she once again left for the balcony to smoke.

''enid... i think that's enough.'' wednesday spoke up, after hours of silence, a hint of hesitation in her tone.

enid glared at wednesday before closing the balcony door.

wednesday looked down at the floor, blinking away her tears. she knew she had to help enid somehow and she did come up with a plan that she carried out instantly when enid fell asleep.

as enid fell asleep, she tiptoed over to her side and started searching around for cigarette packs.

she found three of them and left the dorm.

when she was outside she dropped them on the ground and stomped on them before throwing them away.

wednesday went back to the dorm and quietly went to sleep.

in the morning, she was awoken by enid throwing her stuff around and rummaging through them.

''what are you doing?'' wednesday questioned, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

''wednesday, did you touch my cigarettes?''

''i-'' wednesday sighed before continued. ''you know i just want to help you, right?''

''where are they, wednesday?!''

''i got rid of them.''

''what the fuck?! that's your way of helping me?! making me feel more miserable?!''

''enid-''

wednesday tried to reason, but enid had different plans.

taking ahold of wednesday's long paper work that she hoped would one day turn into a novel, all this hard work was gone when enid ripped apart all the pages.

wednesday watched as the, now million little pieces, of her novel fell down to the floor.

''i never want to see you again!'' enid snapped one last time before leaving the dorm, slamming the door behind her.

wednesday fell down on her knees, her hands breaking her complete fall. she stared at the pieces as they were getting slowly soaked in tears.

enid left for the nearby normie town to buy another pack of cigarettes. as she left the store she encounters a man who gives her a bag of ''candy''. he refers to them as ''goodbye emotions''.

enid happily accepts the offer and goes back to nevermore.

as she made her way to the bathroom she passed by her dorm, without a second thought.

however, when she heard the faint sobs of her lover, a second thought did come to her mind.

she shook her head before continuing forward to the bathroom.

when enid made sure nobody else was in the bathroom with her, she opened the small bag of candy and spilled them on her hands.

she took them all at once, lighting a cigarette after.

her mind started running in circles as well as her vision. she felt herself losing balance as her thoughts stopped at wednesday. was she too harsh on her? will she ever forgive her wrong doings?

enid couldn't keep up with the fast pace of questions as she collapsed on the floor.

the cigarette still burning in her trembling hand.
