The Way I Remember Us.

Back to where it was.

After dinner.
Liz and Sasha were on the couch.
Sasha turned on the TV and asked Liz what would she like to watch.
Liz shook her head. "Bahala ka na." She said.
But then Sasha decided to turned it off again and look at Liz.
Liz's head was bowed down and holidng on the  keychain and said in a whisper. "I'm quitting."
Sasha was shocked to hear it.
"Sigurado ka na ba sa desisyon mong mag quit? Teka! Baka nabibigla ka lang." Asked concernly of Sasha.
Liz sadly smile. "May magagawa pa ba ko? Work comes first. Gusto akong tanggalin ng bruha na yun eh, so kailangan kong mag-quit para matuloy ang project."
"Pero diba naging importante na yang work mo sayo. Baka naman."
"Wala na Sash.." Liz look straight to Sasha. "I've made a mistake. Kahit masakit sakin siempre, kailangan kong umalis. Alam mo ba yung naging sikap ni deputy, yung effort niya; ng dahil sa nangyari at ginawa ko, nasira lahat yun."
"Ano ba.. wala nga kayong kasalanan, wala kang kasalanan. It's Nancy's fault anyway! So why should blame yourself now?!" Sasha's tone got slightly irritated.
Liz smile. "Alam mo ba maging si Francis, I mean si deputy; hindi nakaimik nung sinabi ni Nancy na tanggalin niya ko sa trabaho."
"That means he's against it right?!" A quick response from Sasha.
Liz shrugged. "Who knows. (Then laughed lightly.) But I really do feel that he was against it." And Liz's saddened face showed up.
"Edi walang pagdududa na makakabalik ka sa trabajo!" Another quick responce from Sasha.
"Bakit ba pakiramdam ko hindi ako nakakatulong sa kanya. Pakiramdam ko nakakasagabal ako sa plano niya. (Sasha's face saddened too.) Sash, kahit na may negative thoughts ako paminsan-minsan. Nararamdaman ko naman na kahit paano natututunan na nila kong tanggapin lahat. Alam mo yung may nabubuo ng bond. Pero siguro mali pa rin, no? (Sasha hold on to her hand.) Tama nga naman. Ang isang malaking company na kagaya nila ang hindi tamang lugar para sakin. (Liz chuckled dryly.) Fashion magazine. Wala nga kong alam don diba?! Ni sarili ko nga hindi ko maayusan ng kagaya nila."
"Liz. Don't be hard too on yourself." Said Sasha then rubbed Liz's hand.
"I'll just disappoint everyone if I continue to work there Sasha." Then Liz suddenly cried bowing her head down again while looking on the keychain she's holding.
She cried so hard that Sasha burst out of tears too then hugged Liz comforting her friend.
"At least ngayon, bukas at sa mga susunod na araw. Hindi ko na kailangang mag-alala pa. Hindi na ko magpoproof read para sa kanila o tatakbo sa mga iuutos nila sakin. I can finally relax myself, right?"
Sasha rubbed Liz's back.
Liz cried was too much, like a child having a bruised arm.
She haven't seen Liz cried like this ever.
"Pero bakit ang sakit? Ang sakit isiping hindi na ko magtatrabaho pa sa company na gusto ko, hindi ko na makikita ang mga katrabaho ko, ang mga kulitan at asaran namin at lalo na si Deputy; hindi ko na maririnig na pagagalitan niya ko ni hindi ko na makikita ang mga pagsusingit niya sakin."
"Liz calm down, I believe that everything will be alright." Sasha replied while sobbing.
Liz rubbed the keychain stared on it.
Sasha also looked at the keychain.
"It hurts. It's hurts a lot." Liz said while sobbing. "Thanks Sasha for being here with me."
"Ano ba! Para na tayong sisters, kaya huwag mo kong pasalamatan diyan. It felt weird."
Liz chuckled a little but still crying.
Sasha suddenly heard some noise from the front door but ignored it the moment Liz had hugged her tight.

Allan was outside of Liz's and Sasha's house.
He was standing in front of the door.
He didn't knock and he didn't let them know that he was right there.
Because before he could knock.
Allan already heard Liz's agony from where he was standing.
He heard their conversation and the way Liz's cried torn his heart apart.
He didn't want to interrupt the two, so he just listened while leaning his back on the door.
Although some cries from Liz that would want him to burst the door and enter to comfort her, didn't happen.
He sat down while listening.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't there when that happened. I didn't protected you, Liz." He whispered.
He felt sorrowful after hearing Liz's words and how she cried about it.
But he suddenly remembered Francis, the deputy.
He felt angry for not doing anything for Liz, for not being able to stood-up up for her or even sided or aided her.
"What's that man even doing that time anyway! He made Liz suffer like this. I won't forgive him!" He whispered in a low tone so that none of the two could notice him being in front of their door.
Allan stand up and hold the door as if it was holding Liz's face. "Don't worry now. I am here."
Then leave and returned to his car.
He drove off with a disgusted look upon his face.
