The Way I Remember Us.

Closer I get, closer I fall.

Kael saw the Deputy just arrived as well.
He ran quickly to catch-up on Francis.
Kael greeted him as he was walking on the same phase as him and Francis greet him back.
They both entered the building and walked together going to the lift.
Francis press the button.
"Oo nga pala. I forgot to thank you for bringing Liz back to us."
Francis glanced with a rolled eyes at Kael and said coldy. "It's nothing to thanked me about." Then he remembered the day that Kael showed him the notes of Liz and told him that he likes Liz a lot.
Francis face the door lift and waiting for it to open.
Kael smirked. "Yung temper mo timplado, no?"
"What do you mean?" Asked Francis while looking at Kael's reflection on the lift's door.
Kael shrugged his shoulders while saying. "Hot and cold ka kasi eh.. Yan ang pinapakita mong attitude sa lahat. Nagpapa-playing cool and tough boss." Then Kael started teasing Francis with its smug face.
"Stop it. Ganito talaga ko." He replied calmly but reactionless.

The door from the other lift opened and it was Liz who was in it alone.
She saw the two together and looks like having fun.
"Good morning sa inyong dalawa." Said Liz with a warm smile on her face.
"Good mor-"
"Good morning Liz!" Greeted back of Kael with a high tone over powering Francis greeting. That's why Francis didn't finished his word.
Francis glanced quickly at Kael for almost shouting a greet.
Liz smiled at Kael but then glanced back to Francis.
"Mukhang may pupuntahan ka ah?"
"Are you.."
Another time that they both asking Liz at the same time.
Again, Francis hold back for Kael's loud and rapid way of asking.
Francis pretended he didn't asked.
Liz smiled at both of them but starting to feel a little awkward.
Liz is holding a paper.
A list of some things she needed to buy.
"I'm off on an errand." She replied looking at Kael.
"Okay, ingat! See you later."
"See you-"
Francis couldn't finished the words he wanted to say because of Kael.
Kael played like Liz was like a princess and making a way for her bowing his head and making his hands stretched forth on the way. "Your way here." Kael added with a smiling face.
Then Liz left off.

Kael teased Francis again by putting his shoulder around Francis and feeling him that they need to enter the lift.
But Francis was so pissed and he rapidly removed Kael's shoulder around him telling him that. "I said stop it!"
Kael was pushed away a little.
Francis rolled his eyes and snobbed Kael and started to walked going out of the building.
Kael got curious and yelled saying. "Deputy, yung lift. Saan ka pupunta?(Kael entered.) Well whatever."

Francis paused for a moment and sighed.
He was thinking calming himself and whispered. "Siguro magkakape nga na lang muna ako. Tubig nga lang pala ang ininom ko kanina." And Francis continue to walk again going the to the nearby coffeeshop.
He actually saw Liz while crossing down the street.
He smiled after seeing her, like just by seeing her like this can make him calm.

Lunch break is already starting.
So everyone were out to eat something except Liz.
Liz is doing the proposal again and was glued to her table and chair.
She placed the pen and the recorder that Francis gave her next to the pen holder.
By seeing it while working, she somehow felt that these things can give her a boost of confidence.

While at it writing she doesn't felt or realised that Kael just came back from his lunch break and was slowly waking to startled her.
Kael yelled from Liz's behind that made Liz shout as well.
Kael was laughing really hard and Liz gave him a hit on its shoulders while saying. "Sira ulo ka talaga! Gulat ka ng gulat!"
Then Kael sat half of his ass on Liz's table while saying sorry for startling her.
Liz started to look on her paper then Kael looked at it too and asked. "Anong ginagawa mo? Proposal ba ulit?"
Liz nodded with a serious look.
"Can I read it? Tulungan na kita diyan." He said then took another chair for him.
Liz gave the paper to Kael and he started reading it.
"Hindi pa rin maganda to." He said.
Liz frowned. "Hindi pa rin maganda? Bakit pinabasa ko ba yung una kong propasal sayo?"
Kael widened his eyes while still looking at the paper.
He smiled troubledly while saying. "Hindi, pero siempre rejected nga yun diba. Kaya nasabi kong hindi pa rin maganda to."
Liz smirked while frowning. "So kaya mo ba nahulaan na rejected yung proposal ko kasi nakita mo ko ngayong may ginagawang bago?"
Kael big smiled returned to his face. "Exactly! Alam ko na yung mga ganyan eh."
Liz nodded smilingly.
But then again Liz made a troubled reaction face. "Paano ba to? Paano ko ba siya mapapapayag?"
Kael's became serious and asked. "Ano bang nagustuhan mo sa kanya? Anong masasabi mo at tingin mo sa mga crafts niya? At anong nagbigay sayo ng idea para piliin siya na gawan ng isang article. (Liz attentively listen.) Ito ang masasabi kong major part. Ano rin sa tingin mo ang mabibigay o magugustuhan ng mga readers sa isusulat mo at sa mababasa nila."
Liz eyes widened as she was gassping.
It's like the words of emotions starting to fill her mind.
"Just write down what you feel about it. Just be true to yourself and write it like (Kael finding the right word to compare to it.) Maybe like a fan! Because a fan expresses their love, support and care for the person they were idolising."
Liz was thrilled on everything that Kael taught him just now.
She was so happy that she gave Kael a quick embrace that Kael doesn't expect for himself to received.
