Before being transported to the borderland, Akira lived a so-called 'average' life. She would wake up, go to work, come back home, and finally sleep. Then the process would repeat itself again the next day. However after meeting a silver-haired man...

I stood outside the meeting room, watching as my colleagues arrived. God I can't sit through another one of these meetings. I thought to myself. I observed every member of staff individually, it was like a game to me. Speaking to anyone besides my best friends and close family gave me an overwhelming ick. The people who worked with me where snobs anyway.
As my eyes darted from one person to another, an odd looking man caught my eye. He wasn't talking like the others, he just stood there, doing the exact same thing I was doing. I considered approaching him, but my trail of thought was cut short when the CEO of the hospital leant against the doorframe, ushering everyone to come inside the meeting room.
I came inside and slouched down into my chair, hoping the CEO and managers weren't planning on keeping us for too long.
After a long half hour of struggling to keep my eyelids open, I looked across the meeting table to see the same man from earlier, except this time he was staring at me. I could feel my cheeks go hot, as I realised his appearance wasn't as odd as I'd thought originally. His ash-blonde hair travelled down to his shoulders, with the back half of it tucked into the messy bun. His golden brown eyes where delicate but piercing all at the same time, making me scared to look into his eyes.
I stared at him in awe for a few moments, before shaking my head. What was wrong with me? That next half hour consisted of me burying my face in my hands, trying to conceal the fact I was blushing for whatever reason. I could feel his eyes staring at me while I was trying to watch the power point presentation. What was this man trying to do? I asked myself.
"That'll be all for today, thank you for your cooperation." The CEO said as he sat back down into his seat and began organizing his papers and laptop. That was the longest, and scariest hour of my life. I looked over to where the strange man had been sitting, relieved to find it empty. I took a breath in, in an attempt to catch my breath. It felt like I'd not been breathing properly throughout the meeting because he was staring at me.
I then stood up from my seat, and thanked the CEO before leaving the room. I smiled, and took out my phone to message my friends; Karube, Arisu and Chota. I had break for the next 2 hours, so I began to walk to the hospital exit.
A message made a PING sound in my pocket, and excitedly I took it out to check almost immediately, dropping one of my folders in the process. Crap, I thought to myself, before kneeling down to pick it up. My head ended up colliding with someone's knee, making me quickly pick up my folder and check to make sure the person was alright. I should've checked nobody was near me before bending down, idiot. I thought.
As I stook up to apologise, my eyes widened as our eyes met. It was him again? Seriously? I stood there hesitantly staring at him, hoping he'd say something first. However all I received was an unapologetic raise of his right eyebrow, making me feel like a complete fool. "Sorry." I mumbled, before quickly clutching onto my bag and walking past the man. I heard him scoff as I walked away, making the embarrassment increase.
I scurried my way over to a bench in the park near the hospital and finally collapsed into it, before letting out a deep breath and taking out my phone, beginning to read the messages I'd missed from earlier.

Sorry about how short this chapter was, I never know how to begin stories so it might've been a bit boring! But dw next chapter I'll make it more interesting!
