When the group returned home, Taeyong didn't say a word. He walked straight into the house, his steps heavy and fast, heading upstairs.
"Doyoung," his voice echoed from above, sharp but tired, "send Jaehyun to my office."

"Yes, hyung!" Doyoung replied automatically. He sighed deeply and walked into the kitchen, grabbing three bottles of water out of the fridge.
"Woah, hyung.... that thirsty?" a voice behind him teased.
He spun around, hand clutching his chest in shock.

"Wahhh- Mark! You scared the hell out me." he exclaimed, sitting down beside him at the kitchen table, trying to calm his heartbeat.
Mark chuckled softly. "Sorry, not my fault you didn't notice me sittinghere!"

"Ha-ha, very funny!" Doyoung said dryly, rolling his eyes. He twisted open one of the bottles and topk a long sip before asking. "What are you even doing here, anyway?"

"Nothing special. Just doing some reserche." Mark mumbled, his focus glued to the glowing screen of his laptop.
Before Doyoung could reply, two others stepped into the kitchen.
"Oh! Hey, Doyoung!" one of them greeted casually as they both headed straight to the fridge to grab a water bottle each.

"Hey, Doyoung, what exactly happend at school today?" one of them asked curiously.

Doyoung let out a long sigh, leaning against the counter. "Chenle caused some trouble." he said simply.
"Ouu, jinjja?!" Mark asked, eyes wide in surprise. Doyoung just nodded tiredly.

"How?" the oldest of them asked, curiosity mixed with concern.
"Uhmm... I don't know," Doyoung admitted. "You'd have to ask hyung- or Taeil hyung and Ten. They were there too. I just know.... that hyung hasn't told either Sungchan or Jaehyun what had happend yet."

"He didn't?" all three asked at once.
Doyoung shook his head. "No. But I have to send Jaehyun to him now. Maybe he'll finally tell him what's going on... he said he has a bad feeling, a feeling that's probably connected to Jaehyun." he said, standing up and grabbing the two unopened bottles if water.

"Kun, could you start lunch already? The boys should be home soon. I'll come help as soon as I'm done."
Kun nodded with a small smile. "Sure, I'll take care of it. Just don't take too long.

A few minutes later, Doyoung knocked on Jaehyun's door.

"Yeah?" came a confused voice from inside.
He opened it slightly and stepped in.
"I didn't think you'd actually knock," Jaehyun said, raising an eyebrow. "Usually hyung just walks in to check if I'm doing something I shouldn't."

"Hyung wants to see you, Jaehyun. In his office. Right now." Doyoung said simply.
Jaehyun blinked, clearly confused, his gaze flicking toward the door.

"O-okay? I... am on my way?" Jaehyun replied uncertainly. "Did I... do something wrong, hyung?"
Doyoung stepped inside fully and placed the two bottles of water on Jaehyun's desk.

"Give that to hyung when you go," Doyoung said, then turned and left the room.
As the door clicked shut, Jaehyun sighed. He grabbed the bottles, staring at them for a second.
"What could he possibly want from you?" his roommate asked from the bed, worry and confusion in his tone. "You always do everything he asks"
