The car ride was silent. No one spoke a word. You only could hear their breathing.
One of them sitting guilty in the back of the van, while their leader was furios on the passengers seat, next to his best friend, trying to calm down.
The rest just sitting silent between them, splitted in two wether they should be mad too or silent and supportive, even tho they also didn't know the reason this happend, the mission going so wrong.
Arrived at their home, everyone got out the car, pulling the two now unconscious bodies out of it.
"Bring them down, in the base." He comanded, voice being cold. One open his mouth to speak, but shut it again, deciding to stay quiet.
Two of them carried the girl and the man to a seperated door leading down in an underground basement.
The tall boy sighed and hung his shoulder low. His best friend patting his shoulder, and smiling at him lightly. Sadly that doesn't made him feel better.
When he looked back again, he saw how his hyungs were carrying the girl and dragged the man away in their base.
His best friend pushed him lightly to the door. When he entered the house, he immediatly got pushed back hardly against the wall next to the door.
Everyone flinched at the sudden sound and the loud gasp of the young boy being chocked by his leader.
"HYUNG!" The boy yelled, who had a food poisoning before. He ran out of the kitchen, into the living room.
The young boy looking terrified into his leaders eyes, which were dark black, showing no emotion than simple rage.
"WHY DID YOU SHOT?!" He yelled at him. The young boy trying to get the older boys hand off of his neck because of the lack of air. But nothing helps, only that his grip got tighter.
"HYUNG!" the other boy yelled again, trying to push his leader away from the young boy.
The 7 youngest coming down the stairs by the loud sound and yelling, while the best friend of the boy standing next to him, nearly crying, scared, his friend might die because of the rage the leader was showing.
"TELL ME WHY?!" He yelled again at the younger one. "Hyung! You are killing him!"
One of them shouted, helping the boy to pull their leader away from the boy, finally freeing him from his grip.
The young boy fell to his knees, coughing, holding his neck and gasping for air. His best friend kneeling next to him, supporting him.
"Are you okay?" He asked worried. He only nodded as a response, still coughing.
"How dare you!?! He is still young! You can't go on him like that!" The tall boy standing infront of the two young boys, protecting them, while pushing his leader hard backwards, clearly furious with the way he handled the situation.
"HE SHOT HIM!" He yelled back. "That is no fucking reason to attack him like that! He is still training! That is why you wanted him to come! To train! Don't blame him!"
"BUT I NEVER GAVE HIM THE PERMISSION TO SHOOT! I NEVER SAID HE SHOULD SHOOT HIM!"
"YOU STILL DON'T HAVE TO ATTACK HIM!" He yelled, equally loud as his leader. He was done at this point. The others only watching the scene silently.
"H-Hyung...." the young boy whispered out. "HE SABOTAGED THE WHOLE MISSION!" "YOU STILL DON'T HAVE TO ATTACK. MY. BROTHER!" Everytime he made a pause, he pushed his leader away. "IF YOU DIDN'T WANTED THAT SOMETHING POSSIBLE GO WRONG, YOU SHOULDN'T HAD TOOK HIM WITH YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE, BUT LET SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE DO THE JOB! LIKE CHENLE!"
"Hyung!" The young boy croaked louder. Both of the two fighters stayed silent, the leader looking down on the young boy.
"I-I... I had t-to do it." He croaked. The leader furrowing his eyebrows, since he didn't understand what he meant.
The other one still looking furious at his leader. "Why." The leader asked monotonous. "T-the girl." He stuttered unsure.
The other boy froze. He turned around to his younger brother. "Because of a girl?" He asked confused.
He looked at his brother intensivly, hoping he would understand what he meant with it.
"What girl?" He asked. "We captured a girl. Wonchan threatend to kill her. Hyung said he could do it, since we don't know her anyways." He looked to the door, where their medic entered.
"You would have sacrificed an innocent's life? A girls life on top? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! What had gotten into you?!" He yelled at his leader.
"Of course I would not! I followed a plan! I never would sacrafice an innocent's life! That would be against NCTs guide lines! You know that and Wonchan does too! But it bought us time! UNTIL HE HAD TO SHOOT!" The leader defended himself, before pointing at the boy again frustrated and mad.
"H-Hyung, I am sorry. I just had to do it." The young boy apologized again. "Why would you go against us?!" The leader asked. "I-I am not!" He defended himself.
"He would never go against us, hyung! I know him best of us! When he has a reason to do it, it is a good reason!" The leader just scoffed.
"We talk about that later... I will see after Wonchan." He stated. "Wonchan is unconscious right now. He lost a lot of blood."
"And the girl?" He just shrugged his shoulder. "Don't know. I didn't looked after her. Depending on how hard Lucas hit her, she still could be unconscious." He answered. The leader sighed.
"Dream, I want you to go upstairs and find out about that girl. Chenle knows how she looks like, he can describe her. I want to know everything you can find out. Name, age, family relatings, everything! Now!" He said to the youngest group on the stairs, who nodded and left immediatly.
"You too!" He looked back to the door, where the two youngsters still laying on the ground.
They stood up, the younger one of them helping the taller one stand and walk, joining the others on the stairs.
Unknown to the boys, the girl already woke up and trying desperatly to find a way, to get out of the cold dark room she was in. She was beyond scared.
"And you guys, go in your rooms. Rest or do some work. Especially you, Jaehyun." He looked at the boy he just argued with.
The boy just nodded and left upstairs. But instead to go to his own room, he went to the room of the youngest, to see his brother there too.
As if he sensed his presence, he stood up and went to the floor with him to talk to him. After he told his brother what happend, his eyes widened.
"Go back to the boys. Don't worry about it." He said and left to his own room, before his brother could even say anything more.
