- Good morning, sweetheart!- said a happy Maddie

- Mom, when are you going to let me out?- asked Danny that had been awake for over an hour since being part ghost meant he needed less sleep than a normal human

- No, Danny. I won't let you out.- responded Maddie in a bore manner while giving him breakfast

- Why, why won't you let me out? Please, tell me...- Danny pleaded his mom, out of sadness from having to leave

- Sweetie, I'm doing this because I care for you and this is the best for you.- answered Maddie in the sweetest tone she could muster

- Yes, you care for me, but this isn't the best for me. How the HELL is being in a cage the best for me?- said Danny, starting in a annoy voice and then shouting the rest of his small rant

- ...- in response Maddie frown at her son choice of words, but decided to stay in silence for now

- That's what I thought! Now! LET. ME. OUT!- shouted Danny, he knew he couldn't convince his mom with words alone; he needed attitude, a lot of it

- Young man, you will not use that kind of tone with me! I'm your mother and I deserve respect!- yell Maddie, but still maintain a calm attitude

- Mother? You lost that respect the moment you close this door and now I will treat you however I see fit!- shouted Danny and he felt his eyes changed to ectoplasmic green for a few seconds

- I'm leaving to look for Jazz and when I return you better apologize- replied Maddie while making her way to the stairs

Danny watches her leave and he knew that he shouldn't have said that, but it was the truth. A lot had change and that involve family, friends and feelings.

- Darn it! I don't want it to end like this!- said Danny to no one in particular

Back in the living room a frantic Maddie looked for her husband, while thinking a million things a second.

- Jack, Jack! Where are you?- shouted Maddie on the verge of tears

- I'm here Mads!- shouted a happy Jack until he laid eyes on his wife- What happen?

- It's nothing! We need to look for Jazz!- shouted Maddie trying so hard to not cry

- Oh, it is something and I want to know what happen!- demanded Jack in an angry voice

- Oh, Jack! Its Danny; he said that I was a bad mother and that...that I lost his respect!- explain Maddie while crying

- Maddie, calm down and try to get in contact with Jazz.- said Jack in a calm voice

- Jack, what are you going to do?- asked Maddie already getting her composure back to normal

- I'm going to talk to Danny!- said Jack in a firm voice that left no room for argument while going for the stairs

- Maybe this is for the best. Now, I got to call Jazz.- thought Maddie out loud making her way to the house telephone

Now, Danny heard everything that happened upstairs and he didn't want to fight with his Dad, but knew that the detachment cause by his ghost core wouldn't help with his desire.

- Daniel, did you really said that Maddie was a bad mother?- asked an upset Jack

- No, I didn't said she was a bad mother.- answer Danny with an innocent attitude

- But Maddie said...- Jack wasn't able to finish since Danny continue as if he hadn't been interrupted

- What I said was that she didn't know what was good for me and that she was no longer my mother.- continue Danny with his innocent attitude

- Daniel, why are you so sad? What can I do to make you happy?- asked Jack hopelessly trying to bring his family back together

- Father - no - Jack, are you really asking this? Are you really that dumb?- shouted Danny losing what little control he had over his emotions

- Daniel, you will not speak like that to me! What is wrong with you?- shouted Jack losing his patience

- Mmm, what is wrong with me? Say Jack, don't YOU THINK THAT BEEN IN A CAGE WOULD CAUSE A HORRIBLE MOOD!!!- screamed Danny losing himself and letting his core release all his frustration

- Danny, all I wanted was my family back.- whispered Jack before leaving the lab

- I'm sorry Jack, but it wasn't my choice.- whispered Danny after Jack was gone, starting to silently cry
