Chapter 14

Hello everyone! I know its been a loooooong time, but I hope you like this chapter!

- If you knock on that door just one more time, I swear I'm going to...- started to say Sam before been interrupted by Tucker

- Oh come on, Sam; cut him some slack. After all he just got out!- said Tucker while getting closer to the door and then opening it

- Oh guys, you don't know how much I missed ya!- shouted Danny while getting his two best friends in a group hug

- Okay, we know; now get inside before somebody sees you!- said Sam after getting out of the group hug

- Umm, Dick I think she meant you.- said Danny to Robin who was like paralyze

- Umm, right!- answer Robin and with that everyone went inside

Then Danny introduced everyone and there was an awkward silence, but Tucker broke it without meaning to.

- Well, Danny we already moved everything to the room and prepared the other for the meeting; it'll be in an hour and Jazz's rescue starts in four hours.-

- Good to hear, and how's Jazz doing?- asked Danny quickly changing into a serious attitude

- Oh, you gotta see this...- said Tucker before been interrupted by Robin

- Wait, what meeting and with whom?- asked Robin a bit mad at not knowing

- ...- silence was the answer he got while they all looked at each other waiting for an order-

- Okay, Dick, come with me. We need to talk.- said Danny still in a serious attitude

- Yeah, we really need to.- said Robin while following Danny upstairs into one of the rooms

As soon as the door closed, Danny kept walking until he decided to sit down on the bed while Robin sat down on the chair. Robin wanted to start asking all the questions that he had running in his mind, but he felt how tense his little brother was. So he decided to just wait until Danny started.

- I'm sorry Dick; but I can't answer most of your questions, at least not now.

- Why Danny; what's going on?

- Dick, you're a team leader, right?- asked Danny while looking straight at Robin

- Yeah, the Teen Titans; why do you ask?- answer Robin while feeling nervous

- Well, as a leader you should understand that there's a time for everything. If I were to explain everything to you right now; I would be putting my friends, my sister and even myself in danger, but if I follow the plan that we made and explain later then everything would be alright. So, could you please trust me and let me keep everyone safe?- Danny kept looking at Robin and he understood what he had to do

- Alright, I will trust you to make the right choice; I hope you trust me and let me help as well.- said Robin with a smile

- I'll tell Sam and Tucker to tell you the plans for tonight. Now, I have fifteen minutes before the meeting; but thank you for trusting me.- said Danny also smiling

With the conversation over they returned to the first floor were the two other teenagers paced nervously. Again Robin was confuse by their behavior and was about to ask them about it, but they rushed toward Danny's side and ignore him.

- Is everything alright?- asked Sam

- Dude, what took you so long? He'll be here in lest than...- said Tucker before been interrupted by Danny
