In a science class in Casper High, a redhead was ferociously working on her homework before her cellphone started to ring the newest song of Katy Perry. All the students and the teacher looked at Jazz, who asked shyly if she could answer it. Once outside the classroom she looked at the screen and found that it was her mom calling. She answered it already having an idea of the reason behind her mom's call.

- Mom, you should know by now not to call me during classes.- said Jazz knowing that it was a lame excuse to accelerate the conversation

- I know sweetie, but we are going to go to the school and get you out since we need to talk.- explain Maddie

- No way, mom, I can't just leave. What about my perfect attendance record? Besides, today, I have a laboratory on my cooking class and a club meeting. Basically, I get out of school at six, five if I'm lucky.- explain Jazz trying to avoid her home, but knowing that eventually she would have to get there

- Jasmine, this is a family emergency! I think that this is more important than school!- yelled Maddie losing her patience at the rebellious attitude on both of her children

- Is someone sick, hurt or dying?- asked Jazz in a bored voice

- None, but it's still...- Maddie started to say before been interrupted by Jazz

- Then, it can wait until after school. Bye Mom! Beep, beep, beep...- Jazz finish the conversation before returning to her class

- What's going on with my children?- asked an exasperated Maddie

As soon as Maddie finish with her phone call, she saw her husband returning from the lab and she wanted to know how everything went, but at the same time she wanted to take a walk and some fresh air.

- Jack, I'm going to the supermarket and for a walk in the park; lunch is in the oven and don't get too sad. Okay?- asked Maddie trying to make sure that nothing would go wrong

- Okay Mads, I will be working in the lab and keeping Danny some company.- replied Jack in his more usual happy attitude

- Alright, then I'm leaving.

- See you later...- said Jack ending it with a sign, after a glance to the stairs he started to walk towards them

- Hey, Danny-boy!

- Jack, I'm gonna sleep, so don't talk to me.- said Danny with some venom in his voice

- Alright, then take this ears plugs and googles, so the noise I make and the lights don't bother you.- said Jack giving the items to Danny

- Thanks, Jack.- said Danny before putting everything on and turning over, so his back was facing Jack and Danny didn't see the smile on Jack's face

In the next few hours, Jack manages to fix some of the bugs in his latest invention, while Danny took his nap. Later; they both ate their lunch and after half an hour Maddie came back, saying that she would eat something quick and then go to the school, probably to look for Jazz. But, she is really stubborn when she wants to be and since they came back at four, it probably means that Jazz fought with Maddie or she decided to play hide and seek. Anyways, for an hour Danny could hear the Fenton's explaining everything to Jazz. He could hear her gasp when they mention his outburst, since they weren't part of the plan and he knew that if Jazz got permission to speak with him, it will be hell. So after dinner, Jazz convinced her parents that she was on their side and that she wanted to convince him of the same.

- Danny, we need to talk...- Jazz started saying

- Yeah, I know. Why don't you close the door? I would do it, but I'm a little confined at the moment...- finish Danny with a chuckle, while Jazz went and made sure that the door was closed

- Alright, how are you feeling?- asked Jazz acting more as a psychologist than a big sister

- Physically or mentally?- asked Danny trying to avoid the subject at hand

- Both, since you want to play that game.- she answer while making sure not to lose eye contact

- Well, physically I'm fine other than a few sore muscles, but mentally...can we skip it?- continue Danny

- No, we cannot. Please, tell me why you had those outburst towards our parents?- asked Jazz in a calm attitude and taking no side

- THEY ARE NOT MY PARENTS.* Ke sorcxistino kaj ke klaŭno ne estas miaj gepatroj.*- hissed Danny at the end

- Danny, tell me what's going on with you and I don't even want to know what the last part meant.- said Jazz while trying to stay calm, but her confusion was obvious

- I didn't want anyone to know, but I will explain it to you on the condition that its stays between the two of us.- said Danny calming down from his outburst

- Danny, I swear, you know that I keep my promises.- continue Jazz in an even more gentler voice

- I know and that's exactly why I trust you. Well, you might want to get comfortable it's going to be a long explanation.- said Danny while also changing to a more comfortable position

- Alright...- was all that Jazz said while sitting in the floor as close as she could be to her little brother

- Well, the truth is...- Danny started his long explanation
