With the tremendous growth in regards to reads A Woman's Empire is receiving, I think it is best on my behalf to warn new readers about the content of this book.
I strongly suggest reading the warning before continuing to read!
Four years ago, I began writing and publishing chapters for A Woman's Empire here on Wattpad. It wasn't until early last year (2022) where I had finally finished uploading every single chapter of Audrielle and Leo's story. Four years ago, I labelled this book under the romance genre but since completing it, I've changed it to the fiction genre instead. In no way am I trying to romanticise everything in this book. Therefore, if the following triggers affect you, I strongly advise you do not continue reading.
There are several themes in this book that may trigger readers and I strongly advise that you read no further if the following trigger you:
- domestic violence
- abuse/torture
- gore/murder
- violent & explicit language
- sexual harassment/assault
- illegal activities/objects/substances
- smut
Another thing that I would like to point out is that character development does not happen over night so if you're expecting a fast read of romance, this book may not be for you. This story and all seventy chapters are based about the character development of not only the main character, Audrielle Harrington, but Leo Amour as well. People make mistakes and in this story both of them make a lot. That means a lot of learning. A lot of patience.
I've rated this book mature (18+) for a reason. So please do not take the mature rating or this warning lightly.
