Draco was fine, nothing but a bad scratch and a big bruise to go with it. He was strapped up and sent off. Though he would not shut up about how lucky he was for not losing his arm. I shook my head in disbelief and disgust. He had already snitched to father, Even then he was still playing it up to his housemates.
"Listen to the idiot. He's really laying it on thick, isn't he?" Ron scoffed
"At least Hagrid didn't get fired." Harry added
"No but he blabbed to father and he's furious. We haven't heard the end of this." I shook my head.
"He's been sighted, he's been sighted!" Seamus called
"Who?" Ron wondered.
"Sirius black." Seamus answered and I slid further down. Hermione grabbed the paper and read it over
"Dufftown, that's not far from here." she stated
"You don't think he'll come to Hogwarts, do you?" Neville wondered his voice quivering at the thought
"With dementors at every entrance?"
"Dementors?" Seamus scoffed "He's slipped past them once. Who's to say he won't do it again?"
"That's right. Black could be anywhere. It's like trying to catch smoke. Like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands." I grabbed the newspaper and looked at the picture of my second cousin.

Hermione and I finished class and headed straight for defence against the dark arts. I looked around and saw that it was all clear in the class room and took out the time turner and draped int around her neck as well and turned it back once. Around us time revered as students re appeared and class began once more. Everything returned to normal. Hermione took of the necklace and we moved forward to stand next to Ron.
"Now, can anybody tell me what a boggart looks like?" Professor Lupin asked
"Nobody knows." Hermione answered as I tucked the time turner away
"When did they get here?" Ron questioned
"Bogarts are shape shifters. They take the shape of whatever a person fears the most. That what makes them so..." she continued before Professor Lupin carried on of her
"So terrifying, yes, yes, yes" the boggart inside the wardrobe made it rattle
"Luckily, a very simple charm exists repel a Boggart. Let's practice it now, without wands please." he told us "After me. Ridiculous."
"Ridikulous." we repeated
"Very good. A little louder, listen. Ridikulus" he clarified and we copied once more "Very good. Well so much for the easy part. You see the incantation alone is not enough. What really finishes a boggart is laughter. You need to force it to assume a shape you find most amusing. Let me explain. Neville will you join me, please?" he requested my fellow Gryffindor, who cautiously stepped forward
"Hello. Neville, what frightens you most of all?" Professor Lupin questioned. Neville mustered something but I had no idea what it was. "Sorry?"
"Professor Snape." Neville stated louder, there was a chuckle and I smiled a little.
"Yes he frightens us all. And I believe you live with your grandmother." the professor continued
"Yes. But I don't want that boggart to turn into her either." Neville rushed out as the wardrobe rattle again
"No, it won't. I want you to picture her clothes. Only her clothes, very clearly in your mind" was the instruction. My head tilted in curiosity.
"She carries a red handbag..."
"You don't need to tell us. As long as you see it, we'll see it. Now here's what I want you do do." Professor Lupin muttered something into his ear "Can you do that? Yes. Wand at the ready. One two three." the door was unlocked and the boggart stepped out at Professor Snape all intimidating and waiting to insult you in some way.
"ridikulus!" Neville called out and Professor Snape now wore Neville's grandmothers clothing. I started laughing like the others. Professor Lupin praised him and called everyone to get into a line. I wasn't too keen to find a place and confront my fears, but Harry pulled me in front of him and behind Parvati. There was a lot of shoving and pushing as Professor Lupin put on some cheerful music.
"Form a line. I want everyone to picture what they fear the most and turn it into something funny. Next Ron." Ron was a giant spider "Wand at the ready, wand at the ready." Ron took his wand out
"Ridiculous." The spider now had skates and was flailing about, it was funny. Ron slapped our hands as he made his way to the back of the line. Parvati was next, hers was a giant snake hissing her. She shakily took out her wand and turned it into a jack in the box clown. This meant I was next. I had my wand ready as I came forward.
I knew what my fear was and I was less that willing to see it before me. The boggart changed to a hodded figure with their head down. When they lifted their head up, it was me. Well a dark version of me. The new Sirius Black of my generation. A traitor to everything I was now. A death eater. A death eater with the mark of him.
"R...R...R" I stuttered
"You can do it, Vega." Harry encouraged me and I glanced back at him he had a small smile. I turned back
"Ridiculous!" I called and I changed into Draco in a ballerina's outfit doing Swan Lake. I laughed nervously and stepped to one side, shaken up. Harry was after me and he froze something in the moment between mine and his something in him changed. The boggart turned into a dementor like the one from the train. Professor Lupin stepped in and his fear was a full moon, that was strange to me.
"Ridiculous." he changed it into a decompressing balloon that flied all around making a farting nose before he sent it back into the wardrobe and locked it. "Right. Sorry about that. That's enough for today. If you'd all like to collect your books from the back of the class. That's the end of the lesson." everyone groaned
"Sorry, turns out you can have to much of a good thing." I gather my things and wait for Harry outside of class.
