I handed my permission slip over to Filtch. It stated that I had my mothers permission to go on Hogsmeade visits. Mother was kind enough to send me money for this trip. Hermione and Ron handed theirs in swell and we waited together.

"No remember these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege." Professor McGonagall began "Should your behaviour reflect poorly on the school in any way that privilege shall not be extended again." Harry came running over to our head of house.

"No permission form signed, no visiting the village. That's the rule Potter." she told him

"All those with permission, follow me. Those without, stay put." Filtch called but the three of us still waited on him. Harry tried again but I didn't hear that part, the courtyard cleared and Harry turned to us

"I'm sorry Potter that's my final word." she told him and left with the other students. Harry sighed

"Forget about it guys, see you later." he shrugged and we walked away I turned back giving him a small wave, which he returned. We took carriages into the village and explored around. I picked up a few things from Honeydukes. I got some things for Harry as well. I visited the bookshop, the hairdressers to keep my hair as it was and Zonko joke shop before we were recalled back to school.

"Honey dukes sweet shop is brilliant, but nothing beats Zonko's joke shop." Ron ranted happily to Harry about our first visit "We never did get to visit the shrieking shack, you hear that it's the most...."

"Haunted building in briton. I know." Harry finished

"Pay no attention to him. He talks too much." I say as the stair case moves around to where we need to go."I got some things for you, it's not much but hopefully a consolation, for your wretched uncle not signing the permission slip."

"Thanks, Vega." we saw a commotion happening outside the entrance to Gryffindor "What's going on?" he wondered

"Probably Neville's forgotten the password again." Ron commented

"Hey." Neville protested from behind me.

"Oh you're there." Ron corrected just as the moving stairs came to a stop. Percy was now even more of a stuck up toad, now he'd been granted the title of head boy.

"Get back all of you. No one is to enter this dormitory until it's been throughly searched." Ginny came down in a panic.

"The fat lady, she's gone." we caught sight of her painting with scratches, like someone had taken a swipe at her.

"Serves her right, she was a terrible singer." Ron replied

"It's not funny, Ron." Hermione scolded

"Yeah, don't you ever think before you speak? You're on a roll with being very annoying today." There was a commotion all around us with the other paintings as well as gathering students coming to see what was going on. Percy was trying to break things up and keep it strictly Gryffindors and things calm. Just the Professor Dumbledore came with Filtch to examine what had happened.

"Mr Filtch, round up the ghosts tell them to search every painting in the castle to find the Fat Lady." Dumbledore requested

"There's no need for ghosts, Professor. The Fat Lady's there." Filtch pointed to one of the paintings. We all crammed and scurried to move to see her as did the professor.

"Dear, Lady who did this to you?" he asked she came up from behind a hippo whimpering.

"Eyes like the devil he's got, and a soul as dark as his name. It's him head master. The one they all talk about. He's here somewhere in the castle. Sirius Black." she cried and I gulped.

"Secure the castle Mr Filch. The rest of you, to the great hall."

---------------

The castle was secure and all students were given temporary sleeping place in the great hall where the teachers could keep an eye on us. Due to the circumstances we were aloud to group with friends, So the four of us slept in a group. Ron, Harry, myself and Hermione

-3rd Person-

Harry couldn't sleep easy that night. he overheard the conversation between Snape and Dumbledore before them retreating to the other side of the hall. Just as he close his eyes to at least try and get some rest, the figure next to him, that being of Vega shuffled. She turned eyes still closed. but he watched her twitch and fidget.

"no..no" she mumbled. he deduced she was having a nightmare. He glanced around the hall, no one else was effected and the teachers were near the entrance and far away from them. Harry turned back to a struggling Vega.

"Shhh." he whispered stroking a piece of her hair back "Shh, it's just a nightmare." she calmed down and settled into a ease of sleep. Subconsciously Vega rocked closer to the source of the comfort of her nightmares as her forehead reacted on his shoulder.

Everything resumed to some sort of normal. Hermione and I took our first class then went back to do DADA. I sat in what was the empty space next to Harry and Hermione sat next to Hannah an Hufflepuff student.

"Werewolves?" Ron questioned

"Sir, we just learned about red caps and hinkypinks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." Hermione pointed out as i took out my textbook.

"Quiet." Snape demanded

"When did they come in? Did you see them come in?" Ron complained. I look at what number page we were on and flicked through it.

"Now which one of you can tell me the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?" Snape asked and I raised my hand "Miss Malfoy."

"An animagus is a Witch or Wizard who choses to turn into a animal. A werewolf has no choice. Every full moon when he or she turns they no longer remember who they are. They would kill their best friend if they crossed paths. In addition the werewolf only responds to a call from it's own kind." I answer and my brother howls. I turn and stick my tongue out at him.

"Thank you Mr Malfoy. Miss Malfoy you are correct though to the ignorance of your fellow classmate who at every opportunity was trying to interrupt. On my desk by Monday Morning two rows of parchment on the werewolf, with emphasis on recognising it." everyone else groaned

"But sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow." Harry groaned which annoyed Snape as he got in his face

"Then I suggest you take extra care. Mr Potter. Loss of limb will not excuse you. Page 394." Snape rose back up "The term werewolf is a contraction of the Anglo saxon word Wer." I got to the right page and started taking down notes of the lesson. Form the corner of my eye I notice Harry freeze and I look up.

"Are you okay?" I whisper, he just gave me a nod and i carried on writing.
