We saw the exact same things there; broken chairs and stuff. I walked around the room which was quite big and noticed an old cupboard and a book shelf. There wasn't anything inside the cupboard but cobwebs and the shelf was empty too. But I sensed something was wrong with the shelf. Just as I was about to check I heard someone opening a door outside. my heart began to beat crazily and I looked at Xander who was also in shock.

"Quick! Hide behind the chairs!" I whispered as I did the same.

The 'someone' came into the room where we were hiding and at once I recognized him. It's the old man! I saw him walking over to the shelf and pushing it sideways. What I saw next was super shocking and made me sit down. It was a door leading to a huge room!

I looked at Xander and he was there looking at me with his eyes widened as if to pop out. I felt my heart beating wild and took a deep breath. The old man suddenly turned and looked around as if he was suspicious, that he was being followed.

But Xander and I were super safe behind the chairs and we didn't get seen. The old man opened the door and went in, closing the door behind. I didn't see what was inside and looked at Xander. I quickly walked over to him.

"We have to leave. Come on." I whispered as I dusted my clothes.

Xander immediately got up and stood still looking deep into my eyes.

"Are you okay, Xand?" I asked shaking his arm.

"I.. uh..I...yes...I'm...I'm okay. I guess so." He said.

I was sure he wasn't okay and he looked frightened. So, I took his hand and helped him out of the factory. We went through the trees and the small path and walked along my street. Xander didn't talk on the way. I was feeling upset about him. I let him stay speechless for a while and began to talk with him when we got closer to my house.

"Let's have something to eat at my place, okay?" I gently pulled his arm.

"Okay." He nodded silently.

We entered my house and went upstairs straightly. I made Xander sit down and wait for me while I went back downstairs to grab food.

"You're back!" My mother said while folding some clothes.

"Yes, Xander came in too. Mom, I'm taking these cookies."

"Okay dr."

I went upstairs quickly and sat down near Xander. He was all normal and calmed down by then. I handed him some cookies and water and began to talk.

"What was that before? Why did you act like that?" I questioned as calmly as I could.

"I saw a thing. Inside the room, behind the shelf." Xander stopped eating and looked at me worried.

"What is it?"

Xander kept staring at me. I knew something was really wrong and he is scared to tell me what it was.

Finally, he spoke after moments of silence.

"I saw Blood."
