[This is gonna be Zelda for a hot minute. I know the narrative is all over the place, but please have mercy on me. Sidon is literally sleeping in this chapter.]
To think that Link, my appointed knight and dear friend would end up with Sidon the big red Zora. They are indeed an odd pair, and Sidon is concerned about what I will think of them. To be honest, I think nothing of it. He's just some dude who just so happens to be dating Link. My one problem is that I am concerned about how this may affect Link's image as the hero. Sealing Calamity Ganon would mean nothing if people knew about all this. So I've decided to let him stay in Zora's Domain with Sidon. At least that way I won't have to worry about my appointed knight getting hurt. Under the protection of Sidon and King Dorephan, he will be safe.
I decided that I would leave for Hyrule Castle under the cover of darkness, when everyone was sleeping. This way nobody would notice me leaving so soon. I did want one person to know why I left though...
Link, Please know that I am only leaving to protect you. People these days are...hateful. They would never understand your sexuality and believe it made you unworthy of your current position. Hopefully here you will be happy, maybe you and Sidon will get married.
