Frank and Chrissy were genuinely happy together. They enjoyed one another's company, humor, and affection. Overall, it was a pleasant courtship until they hit their first major speed bump almost a year into their relationship.

They had been fooling around as couples in love sometimes do, and they hadn't been careful. Chrissy was in her late thirties and Frank was in his early forties. They should've have known better, but the thought didn't even cross their minds.

Not until, Chrissy experienced morning sickness. She didn't call Frank. Instead, she called Dino. He wouldn't freak out, would he?

Dino arrived while Jamie was at school that morning.

"The hell's a matter?" Dean asked the moment the door opened. "You sounded like a nut on the phone."

"Don't freak out."

"Never a good sign," he shook his head and muttered in Italian.

"I think I'm pregnant..."

He smiled, "Congratulations, honey." He hugged her and she began to cry.

"Everything was going so well..."

"What are you worked up about?"

"What will Frank say?"

"He's going to be over the moon."

"I didn't want more children. I was afraid it would mess up the dynamics. I'm not a gold digger trying to replace the Sinatra children... and Jamie..."

"No one is going to see it that way," Dino held her."

"What about Jamie? I don't want him to feel like he's being replaced."

"I'll get Deana to talk to him. She can talk to him about getting a new parent and new siblings."

"Would she?"

"Of course."

"Now, do you have a doctor's appointment?"

"This afternoon."

"Alrighty, go get dressed. I'll take you."

"I'm not telling Frank until I know for sure."

Dean nodded, "Secret's safe with me."

Chrissy dressed quickly and met Dean back downstairs. While she was getting dressed, he had changed a light bulb and loaded her dishes into the dishwasher.

Chrissy became emotional again, "What did I do to deserve you?"

"Nah, you were there for me in my worst moments. It's simply payback for all you did."

She hugged him and let out a sob.

"Can I ask you something?" Dean said quietly.

Chrissy nodded as he wiped away her tears with his thumb.

"Do you love Frank?"

"I do. He's a really wonderful man. He's broken... like me."

"Chrissy, as much as I will always love you, Frank needs you. He adores you. You're just the woman for him."

"Really?"

Dean nodded, "I love you both and I want you both to be happy. I think you're the answer for each other. Now," he cleared his throat, "Let's go."

Dean drove Chrissy to the doctor and waited outside for her. When she returned to the car, he asked, "Well?"

"Well, the official test won't be back for two weeks, but he's pretty sure."
