WONDER WOMAN: 1943

CHAPTER THREE: THE GOLDEN PERFECT

Steve Trevor is shown running through the forests of the island. Searching. Looking for some place to settle down and get his bearings and find out where the hell he is. He sees a stream of water and goes to drink from it but he catches the eye of some beautiful girls bathing and gets caught and taken to the capital city of Themscaryia and is locked up.
"What we're you thinking?" Hippolyta asked Diana as the two bickered in Diana's room. "What was I supposed to do let an innocent person die? I saved a life like u taught me to." yelled Diana. "You are grounded for a eternity!" Hippolyta leaves to interrogate Steve leaving guards to watch over Diana.
"Speak! Present" Hippolyta sits on her throne with Amazons guarding her as Steve Trevor sits on the ground, handcuffed. "In my world, there's this war. The war to end all of the wars. I am a pilot and spy for the United States armed forces and I was sent to infiltrate a camp ran by French woman and Nazi scientist Princess Maru who has been working on a form of mustard gas that can break through a soldier's gas mask. This war is the worst one in known history and I need to get back to New York to tell the US about what's going on."
Diana overhears this conversation and believes this to be the machinations of Ares, the God of War. Hippolyta speaks "We have heard your plea. We will have a tournament to determine who will accompany you safely back to Man's World. This tournament will be tomorrow. For now, you will be locked away in your cell."
Hippolyta shushes the Amazons to take Steve back to his cell as it's revealed that Diana is there also and follows the guards back to Steve's cell. Diana wearing a cape and hood sneaks in. "Who's there?" asks Steve. "A friend." "Who are you?" Asks Steve. Diana takes the hood off and says "My name is Diana. And yours?" "Steve Trevor at your service." The two shake before talking almost the entire night. Steve talks about the outside world and the many sights and mysteries. Diana decides she is going to join the competition and take Steve to Man's World.
It's the day of the tournament! The challenge: first person to find the mythical "Golden Perfect" wins. Diana secretly joins the hunt and race and Diana ends up secretly taking down all the other competitors before heading down into the catacombs of the island to find Hephaestus. "So your Hippolyta's child aren't you?" asked Hephaestus. Diana takes off her hood before speaking, "How did you know?" "Lucky guess. Well I guess your here for this." Hephaestus throws the Golden Perfect to Diana before saying where the exist is. "Can you do me a favor?" Diana asked before leaving. Diana asks Hephaestus to create her powerful armour, sword and shield for when she goes to Man's World. He creates the sword and shield before revealing a beautiful red and blue armour. "I created this armour for your mother but she never thanked me or anything." Diana thanks Hephaestus and takes the armour, sword and shield in a bag before heading up and revealing she has the Golden Perfect and that she's Diana as Hippolyta watches in disbelief.
