WONDER WOMAN: 1943

CHAPTER EIGHT: PROJECT NAZI- PART TWO

AUSCHWITZ, POLAND
Diana stood in utter confusion as Steve askedwho Shakespeare was and Diana reveals that Shakespeare is actually... Hermes, the messenger of the Greek gods. Diana was confused on why a god of Olympus is here in Man's World thinking that the Greek gods had abandoned them a long time ago but Hermes reveals that he had come to Man's world cause he was honestly just bored not doing anything while mankind fights war after war. Hermes also revealed that he had suspected that somebody had been behind the recent war.
This wasn't the only bombshell that Hermes dropped as he revealed that somebody had followed both Steve and Diana to Man's World revealing the mysterious woman who had been watching them to be... Antiope, who was Diana's "godmother"/aunt.

Diana rushed over to hug Antiope but Antiope just pushed Diana away and revealed that Hippolyta was scared that something might happen to Diana and sent Antiope to make sure nothing bad would happen.

Wonder Woman, Steve, Hermes and Antiope started to make their plan to escape and shut down the camp.

After many days of planning and studying the layout thanks to help from Hermes, the four made their escape but ended up finding themselves in a gas chamber. The lights in the chamber come on revealing many Jews all around them as Dr. Maru revealed herself to the group. Maru welcomes the four to their death as she releases her toxin throughout the chamber.
Everybody but Diana, Hermes and Antiope are affected as the gas tears apart the flesh and burns the people inside burning them till they're nothing but ash. Steve attempts to escape as he is able to be affected by the gas and breaks through the mirror of where Maru hid and taken her gun shooting the controls stopping the gas in the chamber...
But it's too late...

Wonder Woman, Steve, Hermes and Antiope were the only survivors of the gassing as there was nothing left but ash. An enraged Diana rushes forwards towards Maru and started beating her to a bloody pulp and kept pummeling her till there was blood everywhere.
Steve attempted to stop Diana but he was too late. Maru was dead and Diana has murdered her. Diana stared at her bloodied up hands not being able to comprehend what she had done.

Diana let out an enraged scream and busts through the chamber and starts ripping apart Auschwitz. Sera sees this and allows it to happen as Wonder Woman unknowingly set free the inmates of the camp as she rallied them together before leading them with Steve, Hermes and a very injured Antiope to the destroyed cityscape.

After the chaos, Sera, Krieger and Tzu discovered the deceased body of Maru. Krieger believed that they had failed but Sera reveals he had poisoned Antiope knowing who she was and her Amazonian blood shouldn't be able to protect her for long.
Krieger asked what they're plan is as his and Maru's research is destroyed but Sera revealed a mysterious syringe and injected Krieger with it. Krieger started to wince in pain as Krieger's muscles enlarged before screaming.

30 minutes later...
Wonder Woman, Steve, Antiope and Hermes and the escaped Jews hid out at a destroyed church in the nearby town. Diana was still distraught.
She had just killed somebody...
Steve attempted to console her but was unable to before they discovered that Antiope is dieing thanks to the poison given to her by Sera.

As they attempted to figure out a way to help Antiope, tanks rolled up to the town with many Nazi soldiers as they start attacking.
Diana told everybody to leave but Antiope went out to sacrifice herself while everybody else escaped to the plane. But Diana followed Antiope not wanting to leave her behind when Antiope and Diana discovered a sight that Krieger had... changed.

Now calling himself "Captain Nazi", Captain Nazi had superpowers and fought against Antiope and Diana. The three got into a fight which ended with Captain Nazi and Antiope brutalising each other as Antiope killed Krieger who died with a smile on his face.

Antiope starts to succumb to the poison as Diana attempts to bring her to their plane but they found themselves outnumbered by the Axis forces. Before Diana and Antiope can be killed, Hermes comes in and saves the two as everybody arrives in the plane and they escape as the Allies made their assault on Auschwitz.

In the plane, Antiope and Diana said their goodbyes to each other as Antiope succumbed to her wounds and passed away.

Wonder Woman, Steve and Hermes dropped off the Auschwitz survivors to the Allies for medical treatment and help. While Steve was being fixed up from his wounds, Diana revealed to Steve they haven't heard anything from Blackhawk HQ and feared that something has gone wrong. While Diana left to talk to Hermes, Sera, dressed up as a nurse, knocked Steve out and kidnapped him.

Wonder Woman and Hermes  discussed who could be behind this with Diana revealing that Sera had recognized her. Hermes was shocked and asked what Sera looked like. After Diana describes him, Hermes reveals that Diana was way over her head and that she should just return to Paradise Island before the situation can get any worse. Hermes left for Mount Olympus before heading back to find Steve missing and worried.

Steve then suddenly woke up strapped to a gernie finding Tzu and Paula standing over him. Steve was confused as Paula sedated him with her saviour from her cell and was revealed to now have silver and black wings.
Paula questioned if this is the right thing and was talking to Sera who was behind glass who said that everything is going according to plan as now they had leverage as the old man broke the cane he had been using and a mysterious black mist comes into his nose as Sera's old body disappeared revealing a blue and black armour with a face shrouded in mystery.
"It's time for... Phase 2!"
Sera's true identity was revealed as his dark facade is gone..
Sera is actually Ares....
The God of War...
