WONDER WOMAN: 1943

CHAPTER NINE: GODS & MORTALS- PART ONE

New York City.
Remains of Blackhawks HQ.
Wonder Woman arrived in her "Invisible Jet" to find the Blackhawk HQ in rubble. She attempted to save everybody but found the only survivors to be Etta, Janos and Natalie.

Etta revealed that she's pregnant to the three and that the baby was still safe even after the explosion. Diana revealed to Etta that Steve had been kidnapped and Wonder Woman puts two and two together realising that Sera is actually the God of War, Ares returning after his centuries of exile.
Diana also revealed herself to be the great granddaughter of Zeus and that Ares was actually her grandfather.

Undisclosed hidden base.
Ares used to have it all. He used to be part of the many gods that lived on Olympus until he was tricked into starting a revolution between the many Greek gods. After he was exiled and stripped of his god powers, Ares took up the name "Sera" and started making plans to get his revenge against the other Greek Gods and reclaim his magical artifacts which were taken from him.
"Sera" would end up starting what would become known as the Second World War by influencing Hitler and many other world leaders into going to war again. It was also revealed that he has affected J. Robert Oppenheimer to make nukes. Now with his artefacts back, he planned on using Steve Trevor's body as a sacrifice to open a way into the Underworld so he can get himself a better army.

New York City.
After taking the injured to the hospital and learning of the recent bombings of Hiroshima Nagasaki, Wonder Woman tried to figure out where Ares, Paula and Tzu could be and realised that Ares will be attempting to use Steve in a ritual and called upon Hermes again who helped Wonder Woman discover where Ares was going to be performing the ritual. Etta was forced to stay behind to not hurt her or the baby.

Somewhere in Poland.
Ares injected Tzu with the "Project Nazi" serum which turns him into a gigantic egg-like figure. Tzu is renamed to "Egg Fu" and the mysterious winged figure was revealed to be Russian Ballerina queen Helen Alexandros. Helen wanted to get out the spotlight but had become paralyzed because of a crazed super fan. Ares then came to her and offered the chance for her to walk again, testing the "Super Nazi" serum on her, giving her life-like wings and turning her into the "Silver Swan".

Wonder Woman, Janos and Natalie arrived at the tomb where the ritual is happening and go in a attempt to stop Ares and are forced to fight Egg Fu who is decapitated by Ares for trying to fight Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman and Ares got into a fight with each other while Janos and Natalie fight Silver Swan and Paula and attempt to stop the ritual from actually happening. Ares ended up winning the fight and side steps Wonder Woman stabbing her in the gut with the blade for the ritual, killing Diana.

Steve was saved but his eyes turned a bright red for a second as Wonder Woman was dragged to the Underworld by Thanatos.

Ares, Paula and Silver Swan walk into the Underworld through the gates which lock behind them. Steve, Janos and Natalie escapes from the tomb before it collapsed and they got into the Invisible Jet then flew back to New York. Ares, Paula and Silver Swan arrive in the Underworld to find it a dark and hellish place. Ares and his group go to the throne and find Ares' uncle Hades who was surprised to see Ares there. Ares used magic to control Hades and force him to give Ares a entire army.
Ares rallied his army but Silver Swan falls into the River and is lost in the sea of souls. Ares revealed his true plan and that is to send his armies all across the entire world to take down all governments while he and Paula storm Washington DC. Ares then revealed that he had never planned on using Steve to get into the Underworld but to use it as a distraction as were shown Steve, who is under mind control, mind controlling both Janos and Natalie and they fly with the rest of the Blackhawks out of New York breaking through the invisible barrier that hid Themscaryia as Ares revealed he has sent the Blackhawks to firebomb all of Themscaryia using a brand new concoction created from Dr. Poison's experiments to wipe out all of the Amazons...
And now that Diana is dead...
No one can stop him...
