Brielle had prepared a mini buffet almost for the friends giving Mariah was hosting at their shared apartment.
She was ecstatic, her love languages were acts of service and gift giving so when Mariah asked if she could lend a helping hand she went a little overboard.
"Brielle, you shouldn't have." Mariah said admiring the assortment of foods that took the place of what was known as their dining room table.
'No, I most definitely should have. For starters you're pregnant and my god baby needs nourishment also it really is no big deal".
Mariah is now four months as of two days ago. She finally found the courage to tell Loyal and of course, he was thrilled.
"Well look at you, god mommy of the year". Mariah said in a teasing tone. "Go big or go home." Brielle said right before she let out a low grunt.
"Ok, see you almost had me fooled I may be pregnant but you're still crippled. You need to sit your ass down."
"Did you just use your mommy voice on me?" "Of course not. I would never curse at my kids. That was my "Bitch and you wonder why you're always in pain" voice."
Mariah said with the sweetest most sarcastic smile she could muster up. In return, Brielle just rolled her eyes and scowled playfully.
Two hours later and the guests had arrived!
"Damn girl, you threw down." Siyan said as he continued to stuff his face relentlessly. "I swea you did" Josiah cosigned. "Hell yea" Loyal joined in.
"Thank you guys." she said blushing. "Nah thank you love." Josiah said shaking his head before shoving the spoon full of dressing and dirty rice into his mouth.
That Josiah was going to be the death of her.
