Chaos was what the country had descended to in the past week after Hawks' video. The broadcast had gone viral through every channel, and every site and it was what all the people were talking about.

Some people called him a villain, others still call him a hero – a hero that saved them from the clutches of the hero commission.

But the fitting word for Hawks was the word vigilante ‐ the Winged Vigilante.

Hawks didn't think about what happened, his main focus was on Dabi. Panic trickled slowly through him with every moment passing while Dabi was still not waking up.

The doctor had said that it was up to Dabi to wake up, but he suggested that he could do  some experiments on him and see what was preventing him from waking up, the idea was rejected by Shigaraki who looked ready to kill the doctor while they were standing and Hawks was relieved, they didn't want the doctor to poke or prod on Dabi's body – they know that the doctor was crazy and he could turn Dabi into a Nomu without their knowledge.

Hawks knew (hoped) that Dabi would wake up, but Dabi's skin was still clammy and hadn't once become any darker than corpse-white and that made Hawks panic even more.

He only slept for only three hours a day, and he looked drawn. There were dark circles under his eyes, his skin was a shade paler than usual, and he had taken upon carrying himself with a slight hunch that was very much unlike him. The league members could see the exhaustion and lingering fear on his face and they weren't better than him – they were all worried about Dabi and the possibility of losing him.

They could hear Toga's cries in the middle of the night behind her closed door. Dabi was like a brother to her, he was always kind to her, braiding her hair or making sure that she ate or just spending time with her gossiping about anything even though he grumbled and complained about her annoying voice, but Toga knew he cared about her. She was afraid that they would lose him like Magne, she couldn't afford to lose one of her close friends again.

"Do you think Dabi-Kun will leave us too?" She asked in a small, shaky voice. She was hugging herself as she held Dabi's hand, she wanted to climb into the bed to cuddle with him and never let him go, but she couldn't because Dabi was hurt and she didn't want to hurt him more.

The silence that followed her words made her feel as if something had squeezed her heart and she closed her eyes as her tears spilt from her eyes, running over her cheeks.

"Dabi is too stubborn to die." Hawks said, his voice soft and cracked at the end and Toga clung to this statement – Dabi would come back to them– She thought.

And she cried that night in Dabi's room, clutching Hawks' shirt as he held her tightly and assured her that Dabi would wake up and they would have him back.

Twice wasn't faring any better than Toga, the man cried a lot and his personalities were always in conflict and it was affecting his mental health. While Mr. Compress and Spinner didn't show their emotions like Toga and Twice, they kept them locked inside, but the other members knew that both were affected by what happened to Dabi and they feared that they would lose him.

Even though they were cold-blooded villains, they were like a family to each other and they didn't want to lose a family member again – they only have each other.

As for Shigaraki, Hawks always find him lurking at the room's door, scratching his neck violently as he stares at Dabi's laying body. With a haunted look on his face as he stared at Dabi, but it was as if he wasn't looking at them— as if he was looking at something else, lost in his thoughts. And Hawks knew that look, it was the one he got when he failed to save someone.
