Episode 7 - Voices In The Dark

Bryan became more and more confused by seeing the figure standing in front of him. It was his sister, Susana. She was smiling at him. How is this possible? Bryan thought he just saw how his sister screaming his name asking for help in the dream. She was bleeding to death. But now she is smiling at him like an angel.

“I…..i saw you dying” Bryan trembled as he talked. “But…..”

“I know Bryan, I know, but don’t worry, I will explain everything later. Right now I need you to come with me. First of all tell me how you are.” Susan spoke calmly. She was covering herself in a brown robe.

“I’m confused ….I don’t know.” Bryan was drowned in confusion. He was feeling helpless to take a decision in what to believe. Everything he saw and heard recently was like a dream.

“I am also seeking some answers right now Bryan. You just vanished just as you came. Then I left Dr. Vladek’s place to find you here you are.”

“How did you know I was here? Answer me” Bryan was losing his patience.

“I promise I will answer you most of the questions you seek, but please you must come with me right now.” Susana talked in a pleading tone.

“How do I know you are also not lying?” Bryan words came out automatically. He really didn’t know who to trust right now, after all things he been through.

“Because I am your sister and I will never ever lie to you.” Susana’s words were enough to change Bryan’s mind to obey her. He didn’t say anything.

 They started to walk quickly into the forest.

Sergei and Trish were stuck helpless in Vladek’s trap. They gave up escaping once they realized that their powers got disabled.

“We’re screwed.” Trish mentioned slowly.

Sergei said nothing but looked at Vladek. He was in enough rage that he could tear Vladek apart.

“I was lucky enough that one of you stepped into my disable chamber. To be honest if I didn’t modify this, any living thing that steps into to this circle will get totally disabled in every single way.”

“You have picked the wrong guy, who are you? and what do you want from us?” Sergei said while the circle trap surrounding him shined against the sunlight.

Dr. Vladek laughed as loud as he can. “That’s my line isn’t it? You two disguised as Surveilas, barged into my place then stole my patient and now you are saying you didn’t do it?”

Sergei and Trish said nothing but stared at Vladek’s eyes.

“Hmmmm, Don’t feel like talking isn’t it? I believe I have to teach you who I am and what I am capable of. Then both of you will spill the beans.” Vladek’s smile turned into anger. Then he snapped his finger the shining cylinder surrounded them vanished in a flash. Within moments Vladek also vanished.

Belinda summoned Rupert to her room.

“Is there any news from the Lycanthropes?” Belinda asked.

“No governess, nothing so far. I will let you know immediately when I get the news.” Rupert spoke faithfully.

Belinda didn’t say anything. Rupert knew what she meant. He bowed to her and left the room.

Damn it Jerone, What are you doing? Belinda thought.
