She was listening to the questioning from outside. When it ended the council members, her companions came out.

“We hope you have heard everything he said. One of them spoke.”

“Every single word” She replied.

“Good. We have more than enough proof to take the correct decision. Let’s get this over with.” They walked away from her. After they left, she took a peak at Rupert. He was sitting on his chair with an expressionless face. She wanted to talk to Rupert. However, she didn’t hesitate to do so.  She thought for a while and decided to make a move by herself.

                                                               ************************

Adam walked deep into the dark cave with a Sylvestran bat’s corpse on his back. It took hours for him to hunt one due to the lack of inhabitance in the forest. Therefore, he felt quite triumphant about it.

He noticed the tubes installed Sylvestran corpse had been almost drained. Unlike a normal vampire, Sylvestran bodies drained quickly. While taking a glance at the corpses Adam thought about another method to supply more blood to the other end.

A strategy worked on his mind faster than light. Adam placed the corpse on the cave ground and walked out of the cave too seeks something that has to do with the plan. He wandered outside the cave for a moment and stopped when he saw what he was looking for.

On a large tree in front of him, he saw some dark-colored  vines tangling. Without thinking twice Adam leaped to a branch on top of the tree where he can reach the vines easily. By touching them carefully he checked whether they can be used for the task, fortunate for him, it was perfect.

Adam brought a load of vines inside the cave and dropped them near the corpses. After noticing the Sylvestran corpse had been fully drained, he pulled all the tubes shoved into the corpse and brought forward a new corpse. After following the same procedure in replacing a corpse, he took the vines into his hands to proceed with the next few steps.

He drilled a vine through a Sylvestran’s chest and then like in a chain he sent the same vine through the other remaining bodies. Then Adam took the both ends of the vine which was drilled through the bodies and fused it with the corpse that was plugged with five tubes.  The blood flowed through the wine as expected. The pin drop silence in the cave broke with a moan once again. The shapeshifter waited for a little while longer with a relief as he saw the shadow in the dark moved.

“I had matters to attend.  What happened to you?” Adam asked without any expression on his face.

“I was….using…my possessing powers……..suddenly I felt an excru………ciating………pain in my………..head and I think I fainted after that…………….” The person who was speaking to Bryan gave the maximum effort to spit out t words.

“Your energy is draining pretty fast.” Adam explained. “Remember we are using Sylvestrans, Not ordinary vampires. Therefore, you must be careful. I managed to increase the blood flow by chaining a few bodies using a Risco vine. That will hold things a little while longer.”

“You are right…………I need a……………….little………… time to……… res……..tore myself. You proceed………… with…………..the rest of the tasks as told”

Adam left without a word. As he walked few steps towards the exit of the cave the voice came again.

“You……………must do something…………about...that....mama’s……………dear boy…………There......is……….a......possibility.....of…..ruining..........the plans……….if he……..speaks.”
