3. Argument

Felix was tired and he didn't got time to check his phone from the morning. When he returned home, it was pitch black. Lights were not turned on. On that time he remembered the morning incident. He hurriedly about to call Sofia but somehow he saw the message and felt relieved. It was already 9.30pm and it will take at least 30minutes to go the mansion in the forest. So again he tried to call several times but she was her phone was switched off. So he quickly left towards the red dragon mansion.

Sofia organized everything for the special day. That was their fifth anniversary.  She was waiting wearing a beautiful red evening gown. She set all arrangements at sharp 6.45pm and she was waiting for her husband. She started to think about their past. She felt how much they both endured during this 5 year period. It was 8.00pm but there was no sign of Felix. She couldn't find her phone also so she thought to have a nap. She went to their bed room and slept. After few minutes she felt like her throat was getting tight and she felt cold so she slowly opened her eyes. Everything was pitch black and she was sleeping naked on a cold floor. She tried to move but her legs were tied with a iron chain and hands also handcuffed. She felt thirsty and hungry at the same time like she didn't eat for few days. She felt so weak. She wanted to embrace Felix. She was craving for Felix like she didn't see him for months or years. She felt loneliness. She couldn't see anything. Only thing she heard was her heart beat. At once she felt someone touched her bare body. It started to feel from everywhere of the body. The hands were ice cold. She started to hear Felix’s voice.
"Sofia...Sofia...Sofia. "
The voice start to echo in the empty space.
But she couldn't move like whole body was frozen. She tried to talk but voice didn't escape. The Felix's voice started to hear aggressively. At once she felt water on her face and she got up.
Sofia started to cry harder in the embrace of Felix. Her breathing started to get hitch as she was panicking. Felix tried to calm down her so he rubbed her back in a soothing way. After few minutes she slept again due to tiredness. Felix was confused with her behaviour. This was not the first day. This happened most of the times she slept alone. He  thought he should talk with Sofia to solve this problem. When Felix went to kitchen the dinner table was decorated with roses and candles and there was a cake.
" WHAT? How did I forget this date again? Oh my god I don't know how to face her tomorrow?", he was talking to himself but suddenly,
"Then how about face me today?",  Sofia came and back hugged him and Felix badly flinched.
"Ha..ha..ha..ha..did you think I was a ghost? Ha..ha..ha..", she was laughing loudly.
"Are you gonna kill me? And I'm sorry for forgetting this special day again and for coming late.", he said sincerely apologising.
"It's okay I understand your works. Don't worry we cam still celebrate right?", she said excitedly.
"Yeah of course. Let's start."
They heat the food and celebrate their special day. Sofia gifted a customised bracelet which was marked as F&S. It was gorgeous.
"I'm sorry I couldn't get ready a gift for you today. But what you want? I will get it somehow.", felix said giving a forehead kiss to Sofia.
"I have an idea. Are you sure you can give me?"
"first tell me. I will try my best."
" I want to have a baby.", she said looking down but again looked up when she didn't get a response. Felix was looking Sofia's face with disappointment.
"We already talked about this matter right? It is not that I don't want a child. You should understand. We have two direct issues . First according to your physical health condition you are unable to conceive a child. Although we can do invitro-fertillization, our second issue, your mental condition is directly affecting on that.", Felix slowly explained the situation. But this time Sofia was very stubborn.
"But I got out from asylum after I got cured. I know who am i. I know about me and shadow very well.", Sofia exclaimed confidently.
"Are you sure you know about you very well? You are having nightmares almost everyday when you are alone and what about the murder of prime minister incident?", Felix asked while controlling his anger.
" about nightmares, they won't affect my daily routine right? And about prime minister incident I didn't do it. Why can't you understand? And don't worry the police officer will not bother us again. Shadow finished him. He is no more.", she said like it was nothing. Was it really murdering someone a common thing?
"What do you mean you again killed someone and you don't care? Do you still deserve to be loved? And about the prime minister's murder, are you sure you didn't do it? YOU ARE FREAKING SPLITTING AGAIN. WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND? You will not understand right and wrong until I stay with you. So let's take a break . For few months let's stay separately. Then you will understand the real you. Give yourself a alone time.", he said sternly.

Sofia's mind went blank. Her body felt numb. Her legs become weaker. She lost her balance and fall on her knees. She touched Felix’s feet and cried. She wanted to tell 'please don't leave me ', but her voice didn't came out. She cried harder until forgetting her breathing. So she hugged his legs tightly preventing Felix’s movement but Felix harshly took off his legs and tried to work out but Sofia quickly got up and back hugged him tightly. Felix removed her but she lost his balance and head hit by a furniture hardly and started bleeding. Felix saw it and wanted to hide her in his embrace, calm her down by patting her back and treat her wound. But he didn't stop. If he stopped today she will not be able to understand the reality. So he didn't glanced back and went out of the mansion. Both hearts were in pain but Felix didn't had another choice.
After their separation, Felix focused on his business to deviate his mind from Sofia. He left the country for precaution as he knew about himself. If he once again saw Sofia, he will surely hug her and forgive her. It should not happen. He didn't regret their break because this will do some progress in Sofia’s condition. But he regretted saying ' do you still deserved to be loved?'
He daily wished that sentence not to be heard or remembered by Sofia because it has an ability to make a negative impact. But he can't reverse time or go back to Sofia just because of this. He was in pain but he had to bear this pain for their future.

Sofia's situation was way more than painful. After Felix left, she became shadow because of the immense pain she got. Shadow engaged in the mafia works and she became the most ruthless mafia queen. Whenever shadow turn back to Sofia, remembering that she was alone in this world again, she again turned into shadow. Likewise days passed.
