5. Asylum

Felix's first priority was Sofia's mental health condition. So he was working at home from about one month. His secretary was Mrs. Lisa, seven months pregnant young lady. Although Sofia was not always ally with others, she was so soft and always considerate about her.
But it was been 3 days new secretary had arrived as Mrs Lisa resigned because of her health condition. Sofia was sad about Mrs Lisa's resignation because Sofia always love to adore and care the pregnant lady. Miss Gorya was the new secretary. She always wore short and tight dresses and she always bit too close to Felix. So Sofia always found a reason to stay beside Felix. Felix noticed the change.
So when they were at bed, he tried to talk out the problem.
"You are acting different these days. Is it because of miss Gorya?", Felix asked slowly.
"Actually i don't like her", Sofia said looking down.
"Sofia, she is my classmate from my secondary school. Being too close is her nature so don't be uncomfortable with her.", Felix said trying not to trigger her.
"But you are married now. So she should know the limits. She should be more professional.", Sofia said bit sternly.
"But..."
"NO BUTS. I SAID SHE SHOULD KNOW HER LIMITS. IF SHE DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT, I WILL SHOW HER POSITION", shadow interrupted Felix and shouted. Felix could never win over shadow. So he took her hands by his hands and made her look into his eyes. Then her gaze soften and quickly look down. Again Felix made she looked into his eyes and started to talk.
"Sofia the thing now I gonna do is for your goodness. So don't take this negative. Do you believe me?", he said softly.
"Yeah I believe you."
"It is not good to kill or harm other people for trivial matters. As I am your husband, one and only family, I should not allow you to continue this."
"What? What do you mean?", she said panicking.
"First let me complete. Let me explain my self. Will you?", Felix said.
"Okay. I'm sorry.", Sofia said.
"You should not kill or do any harm to miss Gorya. You should control your self in the name of our love. I know if I don't do this surely you will kill her. Don't dare to threaten her. I will take actions against for it. Think this as a test you should pass no matter what happens.", Felix completed his explanation.
"What if I failed to do?", she said being sacred.
"I will take you to asylum again.", he said and sighed.
Sofia became horrified. She promised to Felix and herself, no matter what happened, she will never kill miss Gorya.

It was being three months from miss Gorya joined the company. She never stopped being too close with Felix. As Felix started to get back to work in the company, it became too hard to control herself from not killing miss Gorya but she always reminded herself what Felix said that night. Sofia hated the place asylum. She didn't know why she hated that place that much. Although she was there for about two years, her memory about there was blurred or mostly forgotten. Her instricts always told her that it was a scary place. More than she wanted to kill Gorya, she hated going back to asylum.
It was 5.00pm at the evening. There was nothing much to do. So Sofia was reading the novel, 'Grandmaster of demonic cultivation: Mo doa zushi' for the third time. It was  one of the favourite books in her collection. Suddenly door opened revealing angry Felix. She didn't hear his vehicle because she was drowned in the book.
"SOFIA", he shouted startling Sofia.
"What? What happened?", Sofia asked as Felix was angrily walking towards her.
"You are asking me what happened after doing everything? Then let me show you." He dragged her towards in front of the television and turned on it. It was a news about a murder case. Within few seconds Sofia identified. Miss Gorya was the one who being killed. She was brutally killed by slitting her throat.
"Now what you gonna say?", Felix asked furiously.
"It's not me. I swear.", she said being scared. Felix tightly gripped her hands.
"CAN'T YOU SEE HOW SHE WAS KILLED? IF I WANTED TO KILL HER, I WILL NOT STOP BY JUST SLITTING HER THROAT.", shadow shouted. But in next second she had eye contact with Felix, she broke into tears.
"Please don't send me to asylum. I beg you. Give me the last chance.", Sofia said while crying.
Although Sofia begged thousand times he didn't change his mind. So in the next morning Felix took Sofia to the asylum.
"Please don't send me to asylum. I don't like this place. I want to stay with you. If you send me this time I'm not sure i will come alive or not."
"I swear i didn't kill miss Gorya. I promise I will not kill or get out of the house. Please don't leave me."
She was crying continuously within the car.
They got out from the car. Felix forcefully took her towards the hospital. When they enter into the building, Sofia stopped struggling and looked into Felix’s eyes and said, "Thank you for reminding me over and over that I don’t deserve a normal life.”
Felix stopped in that place. He saw only pain from her eyes. But he can't let people die just because of his love. He had to be responsible. He wanted Sofia to be cured and be normal just like other girls. So again he started walking and stopped in front of the room of psychiatrist who was in charge of her, Mr Lawrence.
"Good morning Mr Felix. Nice to meet you. Sit down.", Mr Lawrence said while smiling. Felix sat down and looked Sofia who was still standing while looking at the floor. Felix took her and made her sit down.
"So Mrs Sofia, how are you?", Mr Lawrence said but Sofia flinched and just tighten the grip on the Felix's hand as she was holding it.
"It's fine.", mr Lawrence said while smiling softly.
Sofia was admitted to the hospital. Felix was advised not to come to hospital at least for one month and if he is coming, he should take an appointment.
Felix was about to leave so he went to bid goodbye to Sofia. So he hugged her and gave her a forehead kiss. But for his astonishment, he neither hugged back nor cried.  He expected at least to hear her voice before leaving but she didn't utter a word. Her face didn't show any expression.
"Okay now say goodbye.", Mr Lawrence said while patting her back. Sofia waved her hand without any emotion and left inside. Felix was confused but he just left as there was nothing left to do.

It had been a week from Felix left Sofia in the asylum but he was restless as Sofia's last emotionless face was appearing on his mind. So he thought to go to asylum. But what if Sofia accidentally saw him and it became a disturbance for the treatment. So he went in disguise. He didn't take an appointment because he was not meeting either doctor or Sofia. He just wanted to reassure Sofia's safety. 
Next morning he went to the asylum.
"Can i know in which ward I can meet Sofia Dove Amel?", Felix asked from the receptionist.
"Did you take an appointment?", receptionist asked politely.
"I'm sorry i didn't take ", Felix said.
"I'm sorry sir. Without an appointment we can't share any patient's information."
"Oh is that so? But can i just visit the ward?",  Felix asked.
"I'm sorry sir we can't allow.", receptionist said.
Even after several attempts receptionist didn't agreed to let Felix enter into the ward. So Felix went sneakily inside the ward but he didn't find Sofia. So he further went towards the upper stair. There were special rooms for special patients as last time also they kept Sofia in a special room. It was highly restricted area for outsiders but he wanted to see Sofia. He heard a loud screaming voice and more he walks into the building the sound became louder. He stopped infront of the room from where the sound came. But he got numbed as he saw the person who was screaming. It was Sofia. He banged the door to open but it seemed to be like outer sounds were not heard to inside. After about 15 minutes the screaming sound became lesser and after few minutes it stopped. Felix ran towards the doctor as he came outside and started to punch. But soon co-workers gathered and caught Felix tightly.
"You bastard! What were you doing?", Felix said struggling to release from tight grips.
"Calm down and say about what were you talking? Oh no. First take him in to my chamber."
Co-workers dragged Felix inside to mr Lawrence's chamber and tied him into the chair.
"Are you gone crazy? Why do you act like this?", Mr Lawrence asked calmly.
"You bastard! You thought i don't know about the treatments? I know you can't give electric shock to a mental patient without the consent of the guardian and the time duration you gave the electric shock? It was insane. I was at the door for 15 minutes and she was screaming whole the time. I'm damn sure you started even before. I will arrange a lawsuit against you.", Felix shouted.
Mr Lawrence's calm look within his face suddenly changed into a smirk.
"Oh is that so?", he said patting his shoulder. "But... let me see who is talking about lawsuit?", he said and harshly grabbed by Felix's chin and looked into his eyes.
"Are you the husband of Sofia? The serial killer? Psychopath?", he said and started to laugh loudly.
"I don't care. If Sofia was taken in front of the law she won't put in to jail due to her mental condition. she will be released after couple of years within the asylum. But for you, your whole life will be ruined. You will lose your image and the career. I think you have a wife and children. What about them?", Felix said smirking. Mr Lawrence's laugh suddenly stopped but again smirked.
" okay now don't tell me you will kill me. Can you see this watch? It is a live camera. This is more like a portable cctv. Even you destroy me, Sofia or this watch, the recording will be saved in my computer. If they got to know i got murdered surely they will check the cctv footage. Then also your life will be ruined.", Felix said with a grim, making Mr Lawrence speechless.
"What should i do?", Mr Lawrence said in a helpless way.
"You know that I'm a businessman. Let's make a deal.", Felix said. " you have to let Sofia go with me and I will not expose your illegal activities. Then we will not enter our pathways again. What do you say?", Felix said and Mr Lawrence agreed to the deal. Felix took Sofia to the home as she was unconscious.
