upstairs hallway, Clay glancing over at him, wondering what it was that Justin could be thinking. ''Would you mind if I were to go find someone? I need to see someone.''

''Who?'' Clay asked curiously as they make it to his bedroom, stepping inside as Clay closed the door behind him. They were stuck on where they should go next, what they should do to not waste too much time. 

''Well, uh, I haven't heard from my mom ever since I left Evergreen,'' Justin sat down on the couch that was placed on the opposite wall of where Clay's bed was positioned. ''She's not picking up and I was wondering if you'd be okay with it if I went to see whether she's still living in my old neighborhood.'' 

''You want to go see your mom?'' Clay simply asked. He didn't know much about Justin's relationship with his mother, there wasn't anything for Clay to question. 

Justin nodded. 

''Sure, let's go then.''
