"WHAT????" Keefe yelled, slamming his fist on the coffee table, "What do you mean "talentless"?!" Sophie sighed, "I know, I don't know what to tell Emma. Sophie started tugging on her eyelashes, her nervous habit,  but Keefe pulled her hand far away from her eyelashes. "We will figure it out like we always do. We will find a way to tell Emma." Keefe promised. Sophie smiled sadly, "We will."

At Foxfire-

"Hello, students!" Magnate Leto (the principal) said, "We are excited to announce that 3 more students have manifested on the weekend. Meira Dizznee as a Froster, Lorsan Fayra as a Polygot, and Amra Song as a Shade. Congratulations!" As all the students clapped, Emma whispered to Amy, "When do you think I will manifest?" Amy smiled sadly, "Soon. I know it. You're not 16 yet.". "You promise?" Emma asked. "I promise," Amy replied putting her hand on Emma's shoulder. They smiled at each other for a few seconds until they heard the first bell. "Have a great day!" Magnate Leto said, dismissing the students to their lockers and their classes.

"Hi, Meira!" Amy said when she was walking to her locker, "Congrats on manifesting!" "Thank you so much, Amy!" Meira replied, "Has your sister had any luck yet?". Amy frowned, "Not yet. I really hope she does soon. Will you tell me about how you manifested at lunch? PLEASE??" Meira laughed, "Of course! You're my best friend Amy. I have to go to Alchemy now. Bye Amy!" "Bye Meira!" Amy replied continuing to walk to her locker. The day was already great.

As Emma walked to her locker, thinking about what would happen if she didn't manifest. Would her parents be mad? Disappointed? It would cause problems for the family. Her mom was Sophie Foster. Yes, the one who defeated the Neverseen, lived with humans for 12 years, the Moonlark, the one with brown eyes. Emma kept thinking about it until she reached her locker and licked her DNA slip. "Ewwww. Did Elwin pick this?" The flavour was slimy and sour. She always kept prattles from her uncle, Dex, in her locker in case of this situation. As she was popping one in her mouth, Magnate Leto came up to her. "Good morning Miss Foster,  can you please follow me to my office?"

Emma's heart was beating so loudly, she was very surprised that no one heard it as she walked to Magnate Leto's office. When she entered, she remembered that her friends told her that her dad blew up this office when he was a Level 5, and was with the Neverseen. She smiled when she remembered the story. Magnate Leto gestured for Emma to sit down and once she did, Magnate Leto had a very sad look in his eyes as he looked at her. He cleared his throat and said, "Today Miss Foster, we are going to talk about your manifesting."

During lunch, Amy didn't see Emma anywhere. After lunch, she found a note in her locker-

Dear Amy, I went home early. Tell you why later. Good luck in Alchemy!                                                                 -Emma

Amy sighed. Alchemy. She forgot. She was really bad at it. Lady Galvin did not like Amy. Maybe that was because both of her parents were taught by her. And caused lots of problems. She grabbed her supplies and slowly walked to class.

"Miss Foster!" Lady Galvin practically screeched, "You're late!" "Sorry, Lady Galvin." "Don't do it again Miss Foster. Here is your assignment for today. Brew it and bring it to me in 65 minutes." "Yes Lady Galvin," Amy replied, walking to her workstation. The recipe looked easy.

To complete this recipe, you will need to-

1- Add these 3 serums on your desk one by one.

2-Mix slowly

3- Add water

4- Add the gilded items on your desk one by one.

5- Mix slowly

6-WHAP

Amy did everything well. Until step 5. She was tired of Alchemy so she mixed fast instead of slowly. The potion exploded all over the room. Lady Galvin pulled her away just in time but a little bit went on her wrist. And of course, Lady Galvin's cape had a burn in it from the slime. "Oh my goodness! I'm SO sorry Lady Galvin!" Amy cried, trying to fix her cape. Lady Galvin pulled the cape away and sighed, "Better head to the Healing Center." "Okay... Do I come back after?" Amy asked. "No!" Lady Galvin roared. "Okay then. See you next week?" Amy asked, "Yes." Lady Galvin mumbled. Amy then knew it was a good time to leave. She slowly walked to the Healing Center, making sure she took a long way. Once she made it to the Healing Center's door, she knocked and heard a "Come in!" from Elwin, and walked in.
