- Hyunjin had been a dancer for a few years already, he was the best you knew - You were close friends, so most of the time after class you visited him while he danced - "Uahhh!" you grinned at him, "you're getting better! Mind teaching me a few things?" - He always taught you choreography and even helped you out with your homework - "Hyunjin, there's a competition at school." - He frowned, seemingly confused - "It's a dance program." - "Really?" he raised his brows, "you should sign up." - "What if i'm not good enough?" you huffed, rolling down your sleeves - He sniggered, "with my training?" a grin crept on to his face, "you'll be fine." - You weren't exactly confident so Hyunjin had promised to keep teaching you and helping you out until the competition - The competition came around pretty quickly and you were excited for Hyunjin to see you perform, but that didn't exactly go as planned - "I'm sorry," he sighed as you packed up to leave for the competition, "i'll be a little busy tonight. I won't be able to come and support you." - Your face dropped, but you bravely smiled through it and nodded, "work hard." - Not having Hyunjin there with you made you a lot more nervous than you already were, but you were prepared to try your hardest - Hours passed and you'd finally be able to perform - As you stepped foot onto the stage, your heart raced, and you felt your hands shaking - For a moment, you didn't think you could do it - But, in the corner of your eye, you notice someone familiar - Hyunjin was stood far at the back of the room, smiling and putting his thumbs up - Instead of continuing with his busy schedule, he canceled to come and see you perform, and it gave you the extra confidence you needed to perform - He was impressed by how quickly you managed to learn dancing, and congratulated immediately - When it finally came to the end, you found out you'd finished in second place, and you were incredibly proud of yourself - Hyunjin held his arms out to you to pull you in for an embrace, "good job. You did well." - He even started inviting you to rehearse with him after class to get better at dancing
