Julia and the rest of the spiders made their way to the fantastic building, otherwise known as the Baxter building, home to the fantastic four.

They we're headed their, advised by Doctor Strange, to get the help of Reed Richards so that he could possibly assist in locating Spider-Man. Strange assumed that the scientist was capable of potentially building a machine in order to find him and even bring him back.

None of the spiders were frequent to the building as Jessica mainly operated with the Avengers and stayed in the tower whilst the others moved around more freely as street level heroes with the exception of Julia.

They made their way to the top of the building and made their way down from the roof access, and after some flight of stairs they came into the main room in the building. A large couch sat front and centre in the room with a large television placed in front of it.

The team made their way inside investigating the whereabouts of the team. The team consisted of Reed Richards otherwise known as Mister Fantastic, Susan Storm the Invisible woman, her brother Johnny Storm the Human Torch and Ben Grimm or The Thing.

Along with the four members there was also the children of Susan and Reed, their son Franklin and daughter Valeria.

It was strange that the small group of family had such a large building considering that the Avengers themselves have a large skyscraper in the heart of the city and some of the members actually stay their permanently.

They didn't get very far when they heard the ding of an elevator, turning around they were greeted to the sight of Ben Grimm coming out of the elevator.

Ben was surprised to see the different spider themed heroes in the Baxter Building seeing as he weren't expecting them to be here and wasn't told beforehand of their arrival.

"Hello. What are all you doing here?" He asked to the group.

"We are looking for Reed. We need his help." Said Jessica.

"Oh, well... he's in his lab. Why do you need his help?" He told them.

"We need him to build a machine, one that can help us find Spider-Man." Jessica replied.

"The web-heads missing? Since when?" Ben asked shocked to hear his friend is missing.

"Today. He was helping Dr Strange with something and now he's missing." Julia spoke in.

"Go on then. Stretch is in his lab usually so you should find him there." He said ushering them into the elevator.

"Wish I could be of some help but that sciency stuff is best suited for Reed." He said as they entered.

"It's no problem. Thanks for your help." Jessica said before the doors closed and they descended to the lower levels.

Soon after the doors opened to Reeds lab, immediately they are greeted with the sight of some pretty large machines, of which their purpose remains unknown.

They walk forth into the lab while keeping a look out for Mr Fantastic. Anya and Miles however are enamoured by the machines and continue to look at the different ones they pass.

Coming up to a sealed door which they assume is main feature of the lab the order of the web enter and see the man they are looking for, Reed Richards, sitting at the table looking into a microscope as Susan stands to the side pinching her nose in apparent disappointment.

The sound of the door opening draws Sues attention and she is surprised to see the entire spider team standing in the doorway.

"What are you all doing here?" She asked curiously.

"We are see to see Reed. We need his help with something important." Jessica answered.

"Help? With what exactly, what's wrong?" She inquired further.

"Spider-Mans missing, and we need him to..." Julia began to speak.

"What? He's missing? How? When?" She shouted in worry.

"Yes, he's missing. He was helping Dr Strange with something and got pulled into a portal. Strange can't find him so we need Mr Richards to make a machine capable of locating him and if possible returning him home." Julia interjected in her usual tone.

"Yes, of course we'll help. Right Reed." Sue announced.

"Huh... sorry I was observing some interesting findings from this sample. What's going on Sue? And why are they here?" Reed said annoying and infuriating Sue to no end.

"Ugh... You weren't paying attention. Spider-Man's missing, you need to build a machine to find him and bring him back." Sue ordered him.

"Hmmm... sorry. No can do. I'm very busy at the moment with my research. I'm sure he'll be alright." He said dismissively.

"REED! How could you. He's our friend. We should help." Sue shouted enraged.

"Like I said I'm busy. When my work is finished I'll see what I can fix up." He said turning back to the microscope.

Sue was left speechless at her husbands dismissive attitude and carelessness for their friends safety. Peter was practically more like family to them at this point, being a very important person in hers, Johnnys and her children's lives.

"I see." Julia spoke up breaking the silence left by Reeds response.

"Then we must take our leave. See what Strange has come up with." She continued.

"I'm sorry we couldn't be more helpful." She said apologetically, casting an angry glare towards Reed.

Julia nodded towards her and began to take her leave with the rest of the team following suit as some gave sympathetic looks at Sue.

They made their way back to the elevator and once inside Julia let out a deep sigh at making no headway in finding Peter. Karn apparently was in no hurry to aid them, the Avengers didn't care and now Mr Fantastic himself was unconcerned with his apparent 'friends' circumstances.

Now they had to go back to Strange empty handed with their only remaining source of help being off planted at the moment.

She hoped that they wouldn't be too late in bringing him back, she should have seen this coming, should have made attempts of avoiding this situation. But now here they all are... at a loss of what to do next and the day slipping away to night.

"We'll find him Julia. And we'll bring him back safely." Anya said trying to sound optimistic.

"We'd better. Or their is going to be some serious consequences." Cindy said in a tone sounding more as a threat.

"Yes. The universe would be in dire straits, perhaps even the web and multiverse." Julia said.

"I didn't mean for the web." Cindy said under her breath.
