McGee: Drawn to Life! (Special)

Chapter Ten

NICHOLAS(Narrating):
[I had greatly noticed a difference in Ellie's demeanor over the last three days. I didn't have to tell her to put down her hood and she was a lot more interactive during class, participating, answering questions, and everything that was the complete opposite of the girl I had known before. I felt I was really starting to connect with my most artistically gifted student until...well...I would be the one to reverse any of our progress back....]

*Day three of this little escapade would come ever slowly for the two teens, one with her head full of questions and the other with his sights set on love. The morning was slow. First-period was eternal. And then the second period crept in, the toon sneaking a peak at his friend as she took her seat. He felt his insides swoon at the sight before he gave her a small wave and disappeared again. He shoveled a large skittle into his mouth as his mind drifted off to what today would hold. More storytelling? More nuzzles? More Ellie~

As the lunch bell rang, Ellie again waited until she was one of the last few to meander outward, not even giving Conner the chance to sneak up on her as she tossed her paper bag lunch into his hands and threw her backpack over her shoulder. She said her goodbye's to Mr. Martin and weaved her way through the masses, against the crowd towards the back doors to meet once again with her secret friend in her safe space.*

ELLIE:
McGee, you here?

*She finished shutting the window, placing her bag on the nearby desk, and pulling out her copy of Romeo and Juliet.* 

MCGEE:
*He wasted no time at all bounding out from his shelter, going so far as to kick to book fortress down and onto the shelf.*

You know it!!

ELLIE:
*Both of them giggled at his excitement as she bounded forward, instantly scooping him into her hands and nuzzling him.*

I'm happy to see you too~!

MCGEE:
*He melted into her skin, a long content sigh coming out from his lungs as he nuzzled her back softly.*

[I could get used to this kinda attention!]

*He giggled to himself before he felt her place him down on Nick's desk as she took her teacher's chair, holding the book from yesterday to her chest.*

I found Nicky's old copy of the same book! You weren't kidding about the tragic ending--but the whole night, all I thought about was the better, happier one you told me about yesterday!

*He flushed brightly.*

I couldn't stop thinking about it!

ELLIE:
*She sat up some, excited.*

 Did you really?!

*She leaned into the toon, her chin on the desk as he approached her.*

 What did you scheme?

MCGEE:
*He blushed happily at her joy, walking forward toward her and beaming.*

Oh, loads of things!! Juliet ran off like you said, going through Verona and all the neighboring cities, fighting off guards from the other families as she went to fight for her beloved!!

ELLIE:
*She let out a swoon of a sigh, leaning her head into her elbow and looking dreamily.*

 And then she finds him--

MCGEE:
And he takes her into his arms--

ELLIE & MCGEE:
And then they share a long kiss together--

*They both blinked at each other, cheeks flushed crimson.* 

ELLIE:
*She giggled, brushing her hair behind her ear and nodding.*

 Yes....e-exactly!

MCGEE:
*He sighed just as longingly as she did, his eyes saucers as he looked up at her.*

I guess you and I have pretty active imaginations, huh?
