The day before

Spencer's POV
I wake up and rub a particular cramp on my stomach. I slowly get out of bed wanting Toby but then I realise he's at work. I hear the door bell and go down stairs. I open the door and its Hanna and her little baby Sophie.

"Hey hanna" I say giving her a big hug " what are you doing here" I say as we walk to the kitchen

"Just came to check up on you" she says

"Let me guess Toby sent you telling you to come"

She nods her head " yeah he doesn't want you alone since your due tomorrow"

I smile, loving how much Toby cares about me that he tells my friends to come and check up on me.

Toby's POV

I clean my desk and look at the photo frame I bought to put a picture of the baby in it. I go to my head bosses office and have a chat with him. I knock on the door

"Come in" he says

"Hey Steve I just wanted to chat with you"i say sitting on the chair

"Yeah no worries what's it about"

"Well as you know my wife is due to have her baby tomorrow so I'm taking 2 months off work to be home with her and the baby"

"No problem Toby I understand that you want to be home with your first born baby and wife I get it. By the way have you found out the gender of the baby"

"Yeah we found out its a boy"I say

" A mini you. Believe me your baby will be gorgeous eapical u because of your gorgeous wife may I add"

"Yeah she is gorgeous I'm lucky to have her" I smile "How about you Steve I know you have 4 children"

"Yeah I have 4 girls so that means a lot of makeup and hairbrushes" we both laugh

"I have to go but thanks for the chat and I'll talk to you soon"

"Bye Toby say hi to Spencer for me"

I get up from the chair and give him a handshake "will do"

I get in my car and drive to the nearest florist to get Spencer a bunch of red roses with a little teddy bear. I arrive home holding the gifts in my arms

"Hey girls" I say shutting the door with my leg as my arms were full

I walk to the kitchen and see my wife making me dinner I place her presents on the bench.

"Why are you cooking?" I ask concerned

"Because you need something to eat for dinner"

"Babe I could have just bought something your due tomorrow you shouldn't be cooking for your husband"

She smiles and gives me a hug " well I love you so to bad" She says smiling " I love the flowers and the teddy bear is so cute"

"I'm glad you like it"

I go up to hanna and give her a hug "hey hanna how's parenthood"

"Yeah it's great but just a little tip make sure you help Spencer at night time with the baby don't let her do it all because caleb won't get up at night time to hold Sophie it's always me"

"I would never do that to Spencer" I say looking over at my wife

Spencer's POV

I play with the teddy bear Toby gave me I soon drop it on the floor and slowly bend down and get it. When I get back up I feel a sharp pain hit my stomach

Toby hasn't realised yet as he is talking to hanna I bud in trying to resit the pain

"Toby it's time, I need to go to the hospital now"
