Toby's POV
I wake up on a Friday morning and get ready for work. I get out of bed as quite as possible so I don't wake spencer. I'm letting her have an extra 5 minute sleep then I will wake her.
I get dressed in my clothes and walk to the kitchen. I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around.
Cough cough cough (spencer)
"Hey babe are you okay"
"Yeah I'm .........COUGH...... fine.......SNEEZE"
" Baby I don't think you should go to work today"
"I have to go toby"
"I know you love your job babe but you can't go your sick"
"Fine just for today"
"Thank you now go back to bed and I will bring you a cup of tea"
"Thank you" spencer says and hugs me
Spencer's POV
I go back to bed and call my boss
RING RING RING
"Hello spencer what can I do for you"
"Hey Lauren I'm so sorry but I'm sick I can't come into work today"
"Spencer you can take as much time off as you want you work so hard you deserve it"
"Ahh thank you Lauren, I will be on my laptop all day so email me any work"
"I'm not sending you any work today take a break for once"
"Okay thanks Lauren, bye"
Toby walks in the door holding a tray with a cup of tea, toast, eggs and bacon. He places the tray on my lap and leans down and attempts to kiss me. I push him away and say
"I'm sorry baby I want to kiss you as well but I don't want to get you sick"
"I would become sick for you any time"
"I love you toby "
"I love you too spencer"
Toby blows me a kiss from the bedroom door and grabs his keys for his car and leaves for work.
In the afternoon
Toby's POV
I finish from work and head home. I want to see spencer and see if she is feeling better. I arrive at home and place my keys on the bench as well as my wallet and phone.
I walk into the bedroom and see spencer asleep on the bed. I go closer to her and pull the blanket more higher up so she doesn't get cold.
I just lay next to spencer and twirl her hair. I can't wait to get married to spencer you is the best thing that has EVER happened to me. I'm so lucky to have her.
I know she feels the same way
