Hunter Of The Immortal One! I Refuse To Fail!!

After relaxing for an hour in Goa Del Sia, Hex had decided to head back to the complex in Lucius. Lucius was once a small town, seven years ago it had been bought and taken over by the Lord Devari who cleared the place to rebuild. It was now only home to him and his underlings who live in the only building in Lucius. A tall grey building with red strips and pipes leading to great pits in the ground to pump Z energy into the labs below the towering structure. Hex huffed readying herself before entering a dark red lit room, "this isn't gonna go down too well..." she muttered then knocked before walking in and taking a knee, "lord Devari". She said to a man with white hair, his back to her. He was sitting on his bed, a mask leading up to his face feeding him oxygen. "Hex..." he breathed hard, "you return... without the girl I see..." She lowered her head, "yes sir... something unfortunate happened. Her bodyguard Bodoku killed her". Devari chuckled, his laugh turning into a cough, Hex frowned with confusion, "I don't understand my lord. I thought you'd be angry". "They have fooled you my gullible henchman", she lowered her head further as he stood walking around the bed to stand before her, "the girl can not die". "She can't-" "What have I been trying to achieve all this time? Immortality is within my reach and yet it keeps slipping through my fingers! But the girl... she was born with Z energy in her blood, I know the secrets of her birth for I was there when she arrived. Kaizen has kept her from the world! Kept her from me!!" He began to cough uncontrollably, Hex quickly stood and helped him sit on the bed, "but now. He is dead", he gritted his teeth, "yet still an ant takes his place to protect her! Avoiding the inevitable shoe". Hex tensed with an angry expression, "I apologize sincerely lord Devari, had I known she would come back to life I would've-" "You would have brought her to me, I do not blame you for being tricked Hex, just do your job properly. Forget the others, find the girl and bring her to me. Then all will be forgiven..." He pulled her face towards his and touched his forehead to hers, "you are the only real family I have left my dear, if you don't complete this task I have set it will mean your death too. Do not fail us daughter". Hex straightened with clenched fists, "I won't father, I promise..." she bowed her head before walking out and pointing down the stairs at a man with short black hair and red eyes, "you! Gather some clones, we have a job to do and I refuse to fail again!" The man saluted her then ran towards a lift that led to the basement.

Tonton dived away falling onto her back as Bodoku struck at her with the sword. He swung it down towards her, she held up a hand, "Netarfium!" She yelled. Bodoku's sword struck a yellow shield. He growled in anger striking it again and again slightly cracking it, "please Bodoku, snap out of it!" Tonton yelled, she looked at the flower that was beside his feet, but she couldn't reach for it without lowering the shield, and that was obviously not an option. "You don't want to do this- AHH!" She screamed as he stabbed through the shield and into her fragile hand. He withdrew the skinny blade tossing it aside as it wasn't breaking through the shield quickly enough. The huge sword in hand, he stabbed it inside and began twisting it trying to create an opening. Tonton held her bleeding hand high with tears in her eyes, "Bodoku, listen to me!" Her face was younger, her voice trembling. She took a breath looking into his purple eye, "I believe in you, you're strong, you don't want to hurt me..." The shield cracked more, "the Nectus dark flower, it's just by your feet, look down and grab it, that's all you need to do and you'll be free..." Bodoku couldn't help himself, he was breaking the shield open, a moment passed and suddenly his eye flicked to glance at the flower bud. He slapped his wrist with his free hand and tried dragging it away from the sword, "you don't want to hurt me", Tonton repeated, "like you did to your friends". Bodoku cried out forcing himself to let go of the sword and throwing himself to the ground. Tonton lost the power to keep the force field, she watched as Bodoku glanced at her, his eye no longer purple he opened his hand revealing the dark flower that had bloomed the moment he'd plucked it from the ground. He noticed her wounded hand, "I'm so sorry..." he muttered. Tonton slouched with relief then crawled to him and ruffled his hair, "ah, don't worry about me, I'm as tough as nails, but you... you're a big softy really aren't you?" "Cut it out..." he smiled nervously, realizing her features were still young. He looked at her hair noticing some of it was now shoulder-length, "I uh... I caught your hair with the sword I think..." "Huh?" She grabbed her hair pulling it to the side, "so you did. No worries, I was thinking about trimming me bush". Bodoku went plain faced so she slapped his arm, "no, don't think dirty". "What!? I wasn't!" His face went bright red as she whistled for Skinner, "oh yeah sure", they both stood up. "Do you hear Dahlia anymore?" Bodoku shook his head then gently took Tonton's bleeding hand, "I almost killed you, how can you be so calm?" Tonton blushed slightly, "you're missing one big fact Bodoku", she touched his cheek, "you didn't, you fought against the spell which no one has ever been able to do, I'm alive with messy hair and a cut hand, but I'm alive because of you". "You got hurt because of me". "Nooo, I got hurt because of Dahlia. But don't you worry, I know how to solve that problem, and I'll do it soon", Skinner landed before them, Bodoku helped Tonton onto it's back. "Wait, what do you mean you'll sort it?" "Don't worry I'm not reckless, I won't go after her personally..." Bodoku frowned but decided it best to leave the conversation and carefully climbed onto Skinner's back. Tonton glanced back at him, "do you want to hold onto me sweety?" Bodoku tensed, trying to avoid her beautiful gaze, her face still hadn't aged. Her eyes were a piercing white blue, her skin glowing, her light peach lips curled cutely into a smile, "uh you're staring", she said. His cheeks went redder than a strawberry, "I-I wasn't!" "You're not a very good liar darling". "I-I don't need to hold you, I'll be fine..." "Okaayy" she watched as he tucked the flower bud in his top, she had passed him a magic necklace for it to hang on, one that couldn't break. She grinned, "Skinner let's go!" She yelled. Bodoku let loose a small girly screech as they took off, he instinctively grabbed ahold of Tonton. "The boobies dear, you're holding my breasts again", she laughed out loud as he moved his hands down and muttered, "you did that on purpose..." "What me? Nooooo you think so?" Bodoku looked at her and gave a small smile, she smiled back and gave a wink, "hold on tight sweetheart!"
