Choji held a hand out to stop the others from moving towards the black building near the cliffs, "it's weird that we haven't been stopped yet..." "I agree", Seth mentioned, "we should double back, they could be surrounding us". "Too late for that", they heard a voice and turned to face the new enemy. "Suyung..." "Hi Seth..." His eyes narrowed at Choji, "Choji... from Seth I expected this, he doesn't know any better... but you? Very surprising". Choji moved slightly to shield Zayla, "I know right, I surprise myself. But it's not what you think, I owe her one". Suyung shook his head, "you and that honor of yours, honestly you're supposed to be a bad guy, we don't have honor". Choji shrugged slightly as Tanjiro intervened, "that's Suyung? I thought you said he was a guy?" Suyung glared at him, "I am a man you buffoon..." Tanjiro's eyes widened, he remained quiet. Suyung blushed moving his hair in front of his face slightly to cover his shyness, "you really think so though?" Seth looked at him, "if you are here that means Torlan and Yuki aren't far behind-" Seth grabbed Tanjiro and Tonton pushing them down, as a black blade swung over their heads. Suyung gasped and ducked as it just missed his head, "HEY!" He fumed looking up at Torlan who shrugged with a smug smile, "my bad, I thought I'd get 'em". He vanished into black smoke then reappeared beside Suyung. "Suyung and Torlan, that leaves Yuki then..." Tidus stated. "You know my name", Yuki said from behind them, Bodoku, Tidus and Zayla faced her, "shocking that Choji would reveal such information. I thought you said you owed her one". "I told them", Seth cut in. "I don't need you sticking your neck out for me Seth, I told you, I'm not your friend". "Ouch", Torlan laughed, "Choji that was a little harsh". "Look", Tanjiro stepped forward, "we're not here to play games, we came for Kuriso, so hand her over". Torlan frowned, "Kuriso, now I know that name sounds familiar..." He sarcastically tapped his chin, "hmm maybe you can refresh my memory, what happened to Kuriso, Yuki?" Yuki stared at Tanjiro without feeling, "I killed her", she said. "Oh yeah, after I tortured her a bit, Yuki cut her down. It was really easy-" "I don't believe you", Tanjiro said, his fists clenched. "You want proof?". Suyung looked at Tanjiro, "don't... it's a bit graphic for a child". "I'm not a child!" Torlan grinned, "you heard him". He waved his hand, black smoke brought Kuriso before them, in half. Tanjiro stumbled back into Seth who tensed in shock. Zayla covered her mouth and moved into Bodoku, who drew his swords prompting the others to draw their weapons, "you sick bastard!" Bodoku growled. "Finally the swordsman speaks! I was wondering when the leader of the misfits would say something!" "What is wrong with you!?" Tidus spat. "Easy boy, I'll get to you soon enough, but first-" He looked at Yuki and Suyung who gave a small nod, "take down their leader". All three of them charged at the group, their target was Bodoku. Yuki reached him first, two daggers drawn she was deflected by Bodoku and thrown back by Tidus. Suyung came in second holding out a hand that began firing shuriken's Bodoku blocked the ones coming at him and Zayla. When Suyung got close Tanjiro stamped an angry foot in the ground causing a solid wall to come between them. Suyung kicked off of the wall going up into the air to fire skinny silver needles downwards. Zayla came out from Bodoku's protection and held up her hand, electricity hit the needles following them up to their creator. Suyung squealed as he was zapped, but Yuki dived at him removing him from any more harm while Torlan vanished in a black mist. When he reappeared he swung his black heavy sword high, aiming for the heads of Bodoku, Tidus, Tonton and Seth. Bodoku was surprised as the blade Ryku had made for him was snatched from his grasp and used to defend him. A clang echoed through the air as the blade and sword connected, "Choji..." Torlan said through gritted teeth, "you saved him?" Choji almost couldn't believe it himself, "I did..." He said then shoved him back forcefully and handed Bodoku his sword as Torlan vanished into smoke, "you're gonna need that, I'm safe from his magic". Bodoku watched him with visible confusion, "why did you do that?" Choji glanced at Tonton, "I dunno instinct? Just watch your back, I'll go for Suyung, and I'll need some help". "You got it", Tonton said. "I'll help", Tanjiro added. "Torlan is mine, Zayla you'll stay with me". "Okay..." Tidus sighed, "I guess that leaves the small crazy chick to us right?" he said to Seth. "We will not be able to fight her, she will kill us". Tidus shook his head and patted his shoulder, "I just love your faith in people..." "I thought it was obvious I-" "Seth". "Right". Bodoku watched as everyone split up then glanced down at Zayla, "Zayla-" "I know. Stay behind you right?" "No, I'll need your help, if you can". Zayla looked up in surprise then smiled pumping a confident fist, "I've got your back". Bodoku smiled gripping his blades tightly, "you strike him with powers, let me get in close. If you can distract him enough I can get a clean kill". "Right". "Don't get too close, remember it's you they want". "I know, I'll use my electricity power". "That's my girl", he winked leaving her slightly stunned and red faced. As he approached Torlan she felt sparks between her fingers, "I won't let you down". Bodoku circled as Torlan faced him, "my, my. The big bad swordsman is coming at me alone?" "His not alone", Zayla growled circling around the other side. Torlan chuckled then licked his lips with an evil grin, "well this will be interesting after all". He vanished into smoke, Bodoku looked around carefully, he saw a husk starting to appear behind Zayla, "Zayla, down!" She dived to the ground and rolled away from the husk, but it was a trick. Torlan appeared behind Bodoku who tensed as he sensed his presence, Zayla aimed a hand at him prompting him to dive away. Torlan cried out as bolts hit him but he didn't fall. Bodoku jumped to his feet facing him while he laughed patting his smoking skin as tiny embers were threatening to set him on fire, "ouch hunny, and I thought we were just starting to get along". Zayla glanced with concern at Bodoku as Torlan aimed a hand at him, Bodoku gasped clutching his chest, "how long do you think your boyfriend can resist having his heart ripped from his chest? Thirty seconds? Twenty?" Zayla held up her hand to use her power, she froze feeling like her throat was closing, Bodoku fell to his knees dropping his blades, "Zay...la..." He watched as darkness began to envelope Zayla's neck.
