Siren's Last Song... Tonton Returns!

Tidus ripped the three spikes from his arm and dropped from the tree, he landed and fell to his knees rubbing his eyes as he tried to peer through the mist, "Zayla? Bodoku?" He muttered. He gasped as Choji slowly walked towards him, his head was down and he was dragging his feet like a zombie. Tidus looked around for his sword but he couldn't see it, he couldn't stand, he'd lost a lot of blood and his injuries prevented him from getting to his feet. Choji raised his arms, the black goo splattered around the ground began crawling up his body, "I will... kill you all... to get... my Bodoku..." CLANG! Something hit Choji on the back of his head, he crumpled to the floor in front of Tidus who looked up to see who had knocked him out. He was relieved to see a familiar face "Tonton!" "Did you miss me?" Tonton asked, she knelt down to check his wounds, "I'm fine", he said, "please I don't know what happened to the other two..." Tonton stood with a sigh, "you're just as stubborn as your friends it seems aye?" Tidus nodded watching as she walked into the mist, "Zayla. Bodoku", she called. She paused seeing something move in the mist, "are you there? Are you okay?" Bodoku was standing before her despite his condition, his eyes were purple and he was holding a bloody sword, "Bodoku..." She noticed his necklace was missing, "no..." He raised the sword, "NO!" She dived back, landing before Tidus as the sword came down making him jump, "what's wrong!?" He asked. "Bodoku! The siren-!" Tidus pulled her back and rolled as Bodoku struck again. Tonton jumped to her feet and yanked Tidus up as he gasped in pain. Bodoku stood before them, Tidus' eyes narrowed as he noticed the blood on the swords blade, "where's Zayla...? Did he... did you kill her!?" Bodoku shrugged, "I dunno, I felt someone grab me and I swung, it could've been Zayla. But then again it could've been that stumbling fool whose currently knocked out on the ground". "Grr..." Tidus went to charge at him, "don't!" Tonton ordered grabbing his arm, "that's not him remember!?" "I'm getting sick and tired of him being controlled like this, I thought he was fixed!" Tidus tensed as Tonton pulled him with her to avoid a strike, "well the necklace he had would've protected him for years but knowing what you guys go through on a daily basis I figured it was only a temporary fix, so I- ugh!" She grunted avoiding three swishes of Bodoku's skinny blade, "so I began tracking the darn trollop instead and it led me here". "Wait... you mean she could be here right now!?" "That's correct!" "What if she decides to take control of all of us- *cough*" Tidus wheezed as he was booted in the stomach, he received an elbow to the back of his neck making him fall down dazed. "Tidus!" As Bodoku raised his blade Tonton took off her boot and threw it at his head. He turned his head and looked at her, "what's the matter, you too scared to fight a woman?" She coaxed. She noticed his hands start to shake, "I-I don't want to hurt you..." "Oh but you wanna hurt me...?" Tidus groaned getting to his hands and knees, he coughed after a kick to his stomach flipping him onto his back. Bodoku knelt on his wounded arm and thrust the sword down, Tonton speared him off of him. She rolled to her feet with her hands raised, "you can fight this Bodoku, just like you did before". "I-I can't... she's too strong!" He swung down, his injuries slowing him enough for Tonton to avoid him. Tidus was still on his back holding his shoulder, "Tonton... I-I hear... a voice... singing..." "No Tidus! Cover your ears!!" Tidus sat up, "come drink my words, take your fill. You will belong to meeee, you will". He stood, his eyes turned purple. He retrieved his sword. Tonton gulped as she tried to keep her eyes on Bodoku and watch Tidus to see if he had been taken control of, "Tidus...?" He faced her, "oh shit..." "I will fight for my lady". He said sounding like a robot. Tonton looked past them to see Dahlia's purple eyes in the mist, "she's there! Right behind you!" She backed up as Bodoku and Tidus both approached slowly. Dahlia's chuckle echoed through the area as she made herself be seen, "Tonton, my shadow. Now that I finally have you I don't know what to do with you. Should I have my big strong men kill you. Or sing to you and make you mine?" "Don't flatter yourself Dahlia, you don't think I came prepared? Why do you think I can't hear your singing?" Dahlia looked her up and down, "you're holding something to prevent me", she glared at Tonton's smug smile, "ah too much effort, I have things to do, people to see. A girl to kidnap kill her". Bodoku struggled against her command whereas Tidus immediately limped towards Tonton. "Tidus... don't!" Bodoku yelled. "What's this?" Dahlia growled as Tonton and Tidus began to fight. Tidus thrust his sword forward, Tonton moved aside barely avoiding the attack causing the sword to get stuck in the tree. Tonton grabbed Tidus' arm and kicked him in the face spinning him onto his back, she knocked him out, "sorry hun..." She straightened watching as one of Bodoku's eyes changed back to normal, he faced Dahlia holding out his sword, "y-you... you won't control me anymore!" He yelled forcefully. Dahlia gritted her teeth as his other eye returned to normal, "you'll pay for what you've made me do!" Tonton stood by his side, "I've got your back". He glanced at her, "thanks", he said, thankful that he had some help in his state. "You insolent fool! You will be mine again... come now and drink me in I-" She cut off with a cough as a flaming hand went through her neck exiting her throat, "that's enough outta you..." Zayla ripped her hand back watching as Dahlia fell to the ground wide eyed and choking on her own blood. Bodoku and Tonton couldn't believe their eyes. "Bloody hell..." Tonton muttered astonished, "I can honestly say, I didn't know the girl had it in her..." Bodoku put his sword away and approached Zayla who was now staring at her hand that dripped with Dahlia's blood. "Zayla...?" Bodoku said, he didn't gain her attention, "Zayla", he said louder than before. She flinched but avoided his gaze as he placed his hands on her shoulders, "Zayla look at me", he said when she failed to do so, he pulled her head into his chest, "you had no choice", he told her. She broke from her shock and began to cry wrapping her arms around him, "I didn't mean to!" She wept. Bodoku glared down at Dahlia, "it's alright. You did what any of us would've done. You saved me again Zayla". Tonton looked down as Tidus moaned, "are you alright? Sorry I had to do that to ya". "Ugh... no problem I was trying to kill you after all..." She gave him a hand up, then pulled his arm over her shoulder, "what happened?" He asked concerned. "Zayla killed Dahlia, has she never killed anyone before?" Tidus shook his head, "no... no one, well there was this one clone- but he seemed more like a human whereas Dahlia looked and sounded like an individual". "That's because she was an individual, she wasn't a clone, but she was still a monster", Tonton finished as Bodoku glanced at her. "You hear that?" Bodoku asked Zayla, "she was a monster, and she would have killed us all without a second thought just to get to you", he separated and looked into Zayla's eyes as she said, "I'm just like Devari..." "No you are not, you're not a cold blooded murderer, don't you ever think that again you hear me?" She looked up at him and nodded, "good. Now let's get you and Tidus fixed up".

"Ugh..." Kuriso held her nose as Tanjiro led her and Seth into a smelly cramped tunnel, "what are we walking through it smells revolting!" She moaned pinching her nose. Seth sighed as his eyes stung from the rotten smell but he didn't want to touch his face in a place like this. Kuriso coughed almost throwing up, "seriously Tanjiro. it smells like a sewers". "That's because it is", Tanjiro replied, his voice slightly muffled as he'd pulled his scarf up to cover his mouth and nose. Kuriso adopted a disgusted expression, "you suck", was all she could say without breathing in too hard. They reached a vent, "stand back", Tanjiro warned then thrust his arms down in an ex shape and back up, "damn..." "What's the problem?" Seth asked. "There's not enough dirt down here, I can't break through". Kuriso eyed him, "seriously? There's not enough dirt down here?" Tanjiro rolled his eyes, "dirt, solid dirt. Not slushy unclean water". "Unclean is putting it mildly". "That's enough", Seth said, "honestly it's like dealing with children", he pushed in front of them. "She started it", Tanjiro said under his breath. Seth drew the red sword, "and what do you plan on doing with that?" Kuriso asked, "chop the steel bars?" "I only need to cut through two of them for us to fit". Tanjiro glanced at Kuriso, "I think probably three". "Why did you say that while looking at me?" She snarled. Tanjiro's eyes widened as Seth faced them, "no his right. Your bosom would get stuck". Kuriso turned bright red, "I beg your pardon!" "Your boobs- ma'am..." Tanjiro added quickly as she shot him a dark stare. "I know what bosom means!" "Don't be offended", Seth said started to saw through one of the bars, "they are the best I've ever seen- UGH!" Kuriso punched his head into the ground making muck splash up, "you are both so rude!" Tanjiro backed up as she shoved him aside and took the sword sawing faster than they could follow, "if I use the elasticity of my arms we'll get through quicker. The sooner I get to Devari and kill him, the sooner I get rid of you perverts!" Tanjiro frowned, "hey I'm not a pervert..." he muttered. Seth was still on the ground so Tanjiro pulled his face out of a dirty puddle, "and neither is he, he was just being honest... that's the way he is. He doesn't know how to speak to people yet-" He ducked as she threw two bars over his head, "HEY!" She ignored him and tried to squeeze through but as they predicted, she couldn't fit because of her breasts, "told you so", Tanjiro mocked.

Tonton had helped Bodoku with his wounds and Zayla with hers although she seemed to be healing like Tanjiro and the others affected by the Zenfemorposis, she was currently slapping a weird smelling paste on Tidus' injuries, "hey ow... watch it lady that hurts!" "Quit being a baby! If you let me finish then your torture will be short!" "Did you just say torture? Are you enjoying this!?" She smiled deviously, "no of course not", she showed her white teeth. "You are one unsettling woman..." Tidus said. "Nope, I'm just good at distracting people, you're all done princess", she winked and packed her bag, "frankly you're all quite lucky I decided I should bring this just incase I ran into you". "Yeah well uh... thanks, if it wasn't for you-" "I don't do thanks, you owe me sunshine, and I'll let you know when I want to collect. Boop", she tapped his nose with her finger then stood up. She looked at Bodoku, who was chatting with Zayla and her face fell. Tidus looked at her, "Tonton? Are you alright?" "Uh yeah, I was just wondering what to do now, I mean I set out to kill that siren bitch to help Bodoku- and the rest of you of course". "Of course..." Tidus was helped to his feet, "So... what are you going to do now?" He asked. "I suppose, I could stay with you lot. Make sure you don't get into any more trouble". "There's no avoiding it I'm afraid", Bodoku said as he and Zayla approached. "What does that mean?" "It means Devari won't stop trying to kidnap me until he finds a way to become immortal". "So... why don't you just give him what he wants, then he'll stop coming after ya?" Zayla and Bodoku glanced at each other. "You don't understand", Tidus cut in, "it's personal". "When you make things personal, you lose focus and die". Zayla stood before her, "I would appreciate your help..." "You would, would you? You'd like the cursed old, young lady to join you on your suicide mission? No thanks!" She looked at Bodoku as he massaged his wrist that she had rebandaged, "you seem to have a good head on your shoulders sweetie, tell them". "I can't". "Why the bloody hell not!?" "Because, Devari is her Uncle, he killed her mother, his own sister. He murdered her father, her life took a different path because he was constantly trying to take her away from her family". "So... it's revenge then", she stated. He stepped forward as the other two joined his side, "your damn right it is. I don't care who does it, Devari has to die, and he will". "This is mental..." Tonton said, then she smiled pumping a fist, "count me in".
