"Is she going to be okay?" I hear someone whisper as my head starts spinning again. A bright light flashes in my eyes. I groan from the brightness adding to my aching, spinning head.

"Megan?" The voice says again. I slowly peel my eye lids apart to see Bo rush to my sides. My stomach feels weird. It's probably just the head ache making me nauseous.

"Where, where am I?" I ask. I quickly feel the pain in my hands overwhelm my body. I sit up to look at them and they're covered in bandages. As I struggle to sit up, my leg sends spiraling pain up my body. I unknowingly moan. My leg is fully wrapped in a huge bandage. I can see blood stains below the bandage from where they must have tried to clean the blood.

"Babe, you're in a hospital" Bo calmly says. I'm suddenly aware of the hospital gown I'm wearing. I almost look past the fact that he called me babe.

"Don't call me that" I say in a low, deep growl. Still, the feeling in my stomach returns. I try to suppress it again.

I sit up fully and see the doctor standing at the end of my bed. My face flushes with embarrassment. I must look horrible. I certainly feel horrible.

"Hello Megan, do you know why you're here?" the doctor asks.

"I assume it's because of these" I say as I hold up my bandaged hands. I can feel the pain serenade through my arms and hands as I do this. I wince and put my hands down.

"Yes. Your... friend here," he gestures to Bo, " brought you in saying you tripped and fell on a broken bottle. We had to stitch your hands and your leg. I'm sorry to inform you that you have also broken your leg. You're in bad shape, and I haven't been able to get a hold of any of your family members. Is there anyone you would like me to call?"

I'm taken aback by all this. Broken leg. Stitches. No family. Bo. The throbbing pain in my head is back. I try to soothe it with my hands, only to remember that they're all bandaged.

"We're also going to have a concussion test done. You had quite a fall missy. Are you sure this was just you tripping?" The doctor informs.

"Yeah. I was walking home, and, uh, I tripped. And Bo picked me up. And brought me here" I say, but it comes out more as a question.

"My knight in shining armor" I add in a low aggravated tone, my voice dripping with sarcasm.

The doctor glances at Bo, while Bo looks at him.

"Um," I say and both of their eyes snap to me, "can you call my older brother,
Brian."

"Sure. I have a nurse call him" the doctor says as he exits the room.

"Look," Bo starts, "I didn't mean to hurt you."

"You fucked some random girl. Right after a fight we had. You went to talk to me, got pissed off that Matt kissed me, so you fucked a random girl" I hiss.

"Megan. It wasn't like that...." he starts.

"Then explain" I say, waiting for his explanation.

"I..... can't," he hangs his head.

"Thought so" I try to act cocky, but inside it tears me apart.

"I should go" he says after a minute of silence.

"Yeah. You should." I manage to say.

He gets up and walks towards the door. He opens it and stops in the doorway. He looks up and says "please come talk to me when you're ready." And leaves.

And with that, I'm all alone.

I had to stay overnight in that hell hole. They finally got a hold of my parents, and my dad had to come sleep in the room with me. Some law or something. My brother was the first one to come. I talked to him for a long time. About what happened. About why it happened. About Bo. He was off at some stupid party, but he came anyway.

The doctors did the concussion test, and I only have a small concussion. Very, very small. So let's add that to the list of things wrong with me.

I finally got to see my hands and leg without a bandage. My hands have little black stitches in them. They're stained blood red and I'm barely able to move them. My leg is a whole 'nother story. It had stitching all over it. It's still stained, but it's all over my leg. The stitches are barely holding me together. I have to use crutches for 6 weeks, a cast for 8, and after that a boot for 5 more weeks. Bye bye summer.

When I got home, my parents made me a nice spot on the couch. I'm not allowed to read, or watch TV, or use my phone, thanks to my concussion. So I'm stuck playing solitaire all day. I have pain meds too. I didn't think it was that bad, but I found out that they had to give me donated blood too. I lost a lot of my own apparently. I haven't heard from Matt at all. Or Bo for that matter.

Again, I'm all alone.

Hey guys. I finally updated. A few of your suggestions really gave me some ideas. Sorry it's been months since a real chapter. None of you guys read my A/N anyway, so I'll make it short. I have almost no inspiration and almost no free time. I love you guys and I'll try to update soon. Bye! -megan042
