"My name is Harmony."

"Harmony what?" The woman at the desk asked impatiently.

"Harmony...Redd. Harmony Redd." I said quickly. My mind was still on last night's incident. The girl, her parents. The two voices.

The woman glanced at me strangely, then typed in the name. "I'm sorry, I can't find any records. Are you sure you-"

"Yes. Positive." I cut in. She looked up and my eyes locked with hers.

"If I'm not on file, maybe you could put me there." I said slowly and deliberately, never breaking eye contact.

The woman couldn't break away. "Of course," she said, her voice almost robotic.

"So do it." I said strongly.

"I will add you," she said back.

I moved away from her. She blinked slowly and shook her head. "Sorry dear, I must have zoned out there for a minute, how rude of me. What was your name again?"

"Harmony Redd."

"Right. There you are, here's your schedule. You're in Mrs. Hutchinson's homeroom. That would be-"

"I can find it myself, thanks," I said coldly, snatching the paper away from her.

"Well, if you're sure, honey," she said, surprised.

I walked out the door, not looking back.

I found Mrs. Hutchinson's class, no sweat. Walking inside, I was almost overwhelmed by all the blood. It was...everywhere. The teacher, the students, even the class guinea pig reeked of it. I closed my eyes.

Remember, you're not here to cause problems. You're in hiding. Just until everything's blown over. We don't want any more issues, I reminded myself.

I made my way to the back of the room and slipped into a seat, slouching low. I didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to myself.

A boy with dark brown hair was already in the seat next to me. He looked up as I sat down, then turned sharply away.

Fine by me. I wasn't here to make friends. Less contact with humans, the better.

Homeroom was a blur. Nobody talked to me, not that I minded. I was the first to leave.

One done. The rest of the day to go.

I just hoped I could make it.
