When I walked to the back of homeroom, Blake was doodling in his notebook.
"Hey...Blake." I said softly. He jumped in surprise. Seeing it was me, he relaxed for a second. Then his eyes got cold.
"What do you want?" He muttered. "I thought you were staying away from me."
"Yeah, listen, about that." I sat down. "It's kind of my turn to apologize."
He watched me carefully.
"I-I just wanted to be alone because it was my first day. I wasn't sure what to expect. I guess I reacted too quickly." He was still watching. "I'm sorry."
He smiled. "It's fine. I guess we're even now, huh?" He grinned.
"Yeah," I grinned back. "So, are we friends now?"
"I hope so," he smiled.
My insides stirred.
Victory.
I know, I know, you guys hate me. I took so long and finally...wow this is so much. I know, I'm sorry guys, it's frustrating but I'll update tomorrow and besides, the end will be worth it, I promise. Sorry for the short bits but the plot is kind of changing in the next few chapters so mwahahahahahaa ok that was weird.
I'm really excited to share...I even have a secret...so I've kinda been updating the story on my own so I'm already waaaayyy ahead and I really like it so I guess ya'll are gonna have to wait and see what that's all about!
