Lying is evil
A cause for hatred
Betrayal
Jealousy
Of course
They're not necessarily
Wrong
To others
Lying is survival
A cause for safety
Freedom
Relief
Of course
It's not necessarily
Right
Lying is a form of control
Over our future
Or our present
But matter how much you try
It cannot
Hide your past
Or the scars
It left behind.
