11. Pain Killers Please

Dumbledore had already given his speak and introduced all of the teachers a few minutes ago. He had also already commenced the dinner and when the food first arrived Amelia was surprised since it had just appeared but when everyone else started digging in she did as well.

Now as Gabriella, Maximus, Cedric and her were all chatting and enjoying their meals, Amelia felt odd. Her head started pounding and her vision got slightly blurry. She pushed it off as she continued to eat and joke around with the others. But after twenty minutes her headache had become unbearable and she had lost most of her vision and what vision she had left was extremely blurry.

Amelia leant against the table with her elbows, holding her head in her hands. The first to notice Amelia's uncomfortableness was Gabriella. "Millie? Are you feeling alright?" Gabriella asked, she was very concerned for her new friend.

"Yeah just a bit of a headache, don't worry about me. It's just a pain killers kind of headache." Amelia tried to joke around and smile to reassure them she was fine, and when that didn't work she picked her head up to reassure Gabriella, but she swayed slightly causing Gabriella to put her hands firmly on her shoulders to help stabilize her. And Gabriella became even more concerned as she noticed Amelia's eyes. Amelia's pupils were so dilated to the point her irises were gone. Gabriella became even more concerned. "Amelia, are you sure?" Gabriella's voice was anxious alerting the two boys to Amelia's condition. The two boys noticed Amelia did not look so good.

"What's going on Gabby?" Maximus tried to ask Gabriella but she was too focused on Amelia. "Should we go get Madam Pomfrey?" Cedric asked also noticing how awful Amelia looked. "I don't know mate." Maximus responded.

Gabriella stayed close to Amelia as she swayed back and forth. "Guys I'm alright, now go back to eating." Amelia tried to reassure them all but failed as they noticed her face turning into dust. "Millie, what in the bloody hell is going on!" Gabriella tried to ask calmly but failed miserably to do. Gabriella couldn't keep her eyes off of Amelia for a second. Then slowly her hands were turning to dust and all of a sudden the lights turned off. Gabriella quickly noticed that she couldn't feel pressure on her hands from Amelia's shoulders anymore.

Dumbledore got the lights on only a few seconds later and quickly noticed Amelia was gone and one of the large windows was smashed. "Minerva..." Dumbledore spoke as Professor McGonagall had a look of utter disbelief on her face. Dumbledore spoke calmly to the professors at the table, "She hasn't gone far just yet, find her." Dumbledore commanded of all the Professors. Professor McGonagall didn't respond but instead she just stormed out of the door along with a few of the other professors at the table.

Dumbledore began to speak again,"Attention! No student will be allowed outside of Hogwarts until Miss Smith has been found. Now prefects take everyone back to your respective houses." He spoke incredibly calmly in spite of what just transpired in the great hall.

Of course even with how Dumbledore handled the situation children gossip especially wizards and witches. Many of the students had felt a cold breeze or even seen Amelia turning into dust which made many of them gossip. The next day rumors spread that she was an obscurial. And to the children's surprise they were unfortunately correct, this was confirmed by the arrival of Newt Scamander one of the only people who have ever personally dealt with obscurial's and obscurus'.

Newt walked up and into Dumbledore's office having already been there once before, after he had been promoted to headmaster. As Newt walked in Dumbledore got out of his seat and shook Newt's hand. "It is wonderful to see you Professor but I could only wish it we're under better circumstances. Now where is the girl?" Newt said as he placed his brief case down. Dumbledore sighed in agreement. "We followed her as far as we could and the last we saw of her she was disappearing into the forbidden forest." Dumbledore explained. Newt picked up his brief case and started out the door alongside Dumbledore, "Then that is where we go." Newt said. "Now could you tell me more Headmaster?"

It was only their second day and Gabriella was already worried sick about Amelia. Gabriella had such a bad time sleeping in her new room, especially with one of the beds being empty because it was supposed to be Amelia's. Gabriella left the room as soon as she could that morning, getting dressed and ready for the day the fastest she ever had. She left the Hufflepuff common room and went to the great hall to relax with breakfast before her first ever class at Hogwarts, potions.

The stress with having her first ever class with Professor Snape and Amelia still missing was getting to her and she barley had an appetite for her breakfast that morning. Gabriella couldn't help but just sit at the table and play with her food that morning. That was until her brother and Cedric arrived at the table.

"You alright Gabby?" Maximus asked startling her. Maximus and Cedric sat down to the left of Gabriella and they started eating.

Gabriella sighed in response to the two boys. "No. I'm worried about Millie." Gabriella said. She then got up and headed to her first class. Gabriella didn't know Amelia long but she knew they had connected immediately and she already missed her new friend.

Hello my friends. I know a post close to the last one, no way. Yes I'm dying, jk. Sorry about the short chapter but this scene needed to happen in order for what happens next. The next chapter will be longer.
