Chapter 12 - Awaken and a Mysterious Woman

After Tristan woke up he looked at his surroundings.

"Have you woken up?"

Tristan looked where the voice was coming from and saw Jigo who had bandages on his chest, right arm, and head.

He looked at his chest and shoulder which also had a bandage.

"I'm hungry..."

Growl!

He heard his stomach starting to rumble again.

"Here!" Jigo reached the full basket of fruits to him with his left hand.

"This was not enough" Tristan said then he takes the basket and get the fruit and eat.

Crunch...

Crunch...

Then he gets another one.

Crunch...

And another one...

Crunch...

A few seconds later, the basket full of fruit was immediately devoured.

"Is that all?" Tristan looked at Jigo as if to say, "I want more."

Jigo, who was looking at him, furrowed his brows and facepalmed himself.

"How could I forget? This kid is a monster when it comes to eating," he thought to himself.

He had heard from some people about how terrifying Tristan could be when it came to food. Jigo had never seen it personally because he had been too busy with his job, and he only saw Tristan occasionally when he was in trouble and needed help.

But now he saw it for himself, so he shouted for someone to buy them more food.

After a few minutes...

"Boss Jigo, is there more?"

Jigo shouted again to someone.

After a few minutes...

"Boss..."

"You're still not full?" Jigo's eyes widened in shock.

"This wasn't enough, I need 10 times more..." Tristan replied.

"Stop boasting. I've ordered 3 times more for now."

"Three times won't be enough!"

"Just eat it first and we'll see if you can really eat it all," Jigo said, still not believing Tristan's claims.

After a few minutes, Jigo's eyes and mouth widened in shock as he watched Tristan eat.

WTF!

It's so fast?

Why are you so fast?

In eating?

"I told you, Boss, it's not enough! I need 10 times more!"

"I don't believe it, just 5 times more!"

"5 is not enough..."

"I don't believe it!"

After a few minutes of shock, Jigo slumps into his chair, numb and stunned by Tristan's impressive appetite. Though he had heard rumors about Tristan's monstrous appetite, he never believed it could be as exaggerated as he has now witnessed. If anyone were to ask him if there was a person who could eat excessively, he would confidently say yes, having seen it firsthand.

"Boss, I think this isn't enough. I need ten more!" Tristan says.

"Okay," Jigo reluctantly agrees, feeling the weight of his decreasing wallet. Although he is grief-stricken, he has resigned himself to his fate.
