The silent secrets Yibo harbored in his younger years were finally out. Zhan's too. And the two men gratefully received blessings of their family and friends both ways. The newest good news is that Zhan's former marriage had been legally dissolved.
So now, the two are in the phase where everyday is drizzled by flowers and blooms.
"Zhan-ge! The sea!" The childish tone made Zhan smile fondly. The older would do wonders just to keep that sparkle in Yibo's amber eyes.
Yibo ran towards the sea, discarding his shoes as his sole and toes dig into the warm sand, then lunging at the contrasting cold water.
Zhan chased after, breath taken at Yibo's joyous giggles as he splashed water here and there. "Join me, Gege!" He called only once and Zhan was already there by his side following the younger's suit.
Guess what being smitten irrevocably by this Prince made Zhan do?
The older's hands slipped to Yibo's waist, securing this treasure in his embrace. Time stopped when their chest collided, longing eyes gleaming with the purest form of emotions.
"I love you, Baby." Zhan said, one of his random confessions.
"How much?" Yibo asked teasingly, moving his face closer inch by inch until Zhan lost all inhibitions and can only think of taking Yibo's mouth in his.
"Through and through." Zhan said almost breathless, placing Yibo's hand over his heart.
Yibo felt the increasing heartbeats beneath his palm. Zhan's piercing phoenix eyes wanting to possess him, begging to make him completely his.
Then the unexpected happened. Zhan kneeled, one knee against the sand, pulling the seemingly heaviest little box from his pocket.
Yibo's tear ducts stinged at once. But he wiped those tears away, wanting to see vividly the realisation of his lifelong dream.
"Bobo, I've hurt you once and it still lingers in my heart." The agony of the past still haunts. Zhan had known late what his own heart's lullaby was. Its hymn yearning for no other except for his better-half: his Didi, his Yibo.
"Let me make it up to you for the rest of my life." The professed promise burnished Yibo's soul into a beauty only Zhan can achieve.
"Losing you is my greatest fear." Zhan's hand gripped Yibo's clammy ones. "Not having you near me will render my heart dead.You are my everything, Bo."
"So..." The following questions hung in the air, echoing along the sound of waves. "Bo-bei, will youmarry me and promise me we will stick together and never part? Will you let me take care of you? Love you? Have you?" The last two words made Zhan's cheeks inevitably blush.
Nonetheless, words have been spoken. Zhan has never been this sure of the future he wants to come true in his lifetime: that is to share everything with Yibo.
Every moment. Everyday. Every instance.
