Ponyboy pov: today is my track meet so it's a big day for me but it's also kinda nerve racking Sodapop: hey pony! Ponyboy: heeeyyy soda heh what are you doing here? Your usually to busy at work Sodapop: well I was able to leave early , I'm so happy I get to see you win Ponyboy: wwwell I don't know if I win but I'll try *he stretches the back of his head nervously* Sodapop: I'm sure you'll win , alright I'm gonna go find some seats Ponyboy: is Darry coming too? Sodapop: yeah he should be he said he would miss it for the world Ponyboy smiles* Sodapop goes to find some seats
Timeskip ponyboy is warming up and stretching Ponyboy pov: as I am stretching I look into the crowd of people I see sodapop but no Darry, it's fine it's fine he's gonna be here don't worry about I tell myself

The track meet starts* and ponyboy and the others in the track,set have taken off 💨👟
As ponyboy is running he looks over to see if Darry is there but he's not if soda was gonna come he wanted Darry to come too
Ponyboy pov: as I see Darry is still not here after all those times he told me he would always be here for me I just wanted him to come and watch me *anger is boiling inside of ponyboy *

At the end of track meet Darry arrives * Sodapop runs up and hugs ponyboy * Sodapop: you did such a great job Ponyboy: Thanks soda Darry: hey pony Ponyboy: Where were you!? I was hoping you were gonna come to, you promised

Timeskip Darry runs to catch up with pony Darry has finally caught up with pony Darry pants* Darry : pony I'm sorry , I lost track of time Ponyboy: it's fine Darry: no it's not you were looking forward to me coming and I didn't come I'm very sorry pony Im gonna try to make it to your other track meets Ponyboy: you will?! Darry: yeah, and we can have the gang over and have chocolate cake Ponyboy: I'm sorry for getting so mad at you They both hug the end Sorry I kinda made it kinda dramatic it reminded me of full house with the hug at the end If you want me to make any changes or redo it I will happily do that
