I groaned as the sun shined through the curtains landing on my face. Mornings are the worst. I sat up to see only Jacob in the bed while Elisha was somewhere in the house.
I got up, put my sweater on because of how cold it was, and left the room to look for E. To my surprise as soon as I walked towards the stairs Elisha was coming upstairs and stopped as soon as he saw me. "Morning." "Oh, morning. Hey can we talk." "I'm not in the mood of talking right now." Elisha said walking past me. I grabbed his arm and made him face my way. "Please? This might be the only time when we could talk without all your siblings being nosy." By the look on his face it was working but I need to do something stronger to make him listened. You've left me no choice E. Time for my ultimate attack. I looked up at E with the cutest kitty eyes I could make, knowing that cats are his weakness. "Aww, cute." He said making a face. "Ok fine, only because you used the emergency cat face." I pulled him downstairs and sat him down on the couch and stood in front of him.
"Look Elisha, I'm sorry about yesterday ok? I was just u'know worried and curious. You're always hiding your emotions and I don't know why." He sat there for a moment then sighed. "I'm sorry too. Plus you have nothing to apologize for. Honestly, no one has ever asked me that question before and I guess it just made me mad 'cuz only you, my parents, Jacob, and Ashlynn has ever noticed." I sat down next to him and rubbed his back as he rested his head on my shoulder. "You could have told me u'know. We're besties, we tell each other everything." "I know, I think I was just scared that you wouldn't wanna be friends with me anymore." He said messing with his fingers which I find cute. Cute? Seriously Adrien? Get a hold of yourself man! "There's nothing you could say or do that could make me hate or leave you alone E. That's how much I care for you." I snuggled with E for a couple minutes and god it took me a while to figure out what I was doing and I immediately scooted away and got up. "You want some breakfast?" He smiled and looked up at me. "Sure."

Jacob, Elisha, Emyusona, Ashlynn and I went out and grabbed our skateboards heading to our secret spot were we go to relax. "So, how's Padrien going?" "What?" I choked on my sandwich looking Ashlynn with a confused look. "Mwhat ta uck is Padrien?" I asked with my mouth full. "First, it's rude to eat with your mouth open and second it the ship name I made for you and Parker." I waved my hand and shook my head. "That's a stupid name, you couldn't think of anything better?" "Shut up! Do you know how hard it is to make a ship name?" She pouted, I just rolled my eyes and continued eating. "There's my cold hearted girlfriend!" I look up to see Aiden with his little sister Amy. "Ashlynn, Aiden's here." But she still didn't care, that's what he loved about Ashlynn though. She could be mean, cold hearted, and one of the most popular "bullies" in our school yet she doesn't get caught. I always thought that Aiden was more into the nice, sweet, straight A girl but I was totally wrong. He sat down next to and I swear I saw her smile, and innocent sweet smile. "Why do you act so cold towards him if you love him so much?" I asked, "Because, dad taught me to never give someone all your trust, also no matter how much you love them doesn't mean they'll do anything to break your heart." I looked at her in shock. That's actually pretty deep, I didn't know she could do that. "Well that's dad for ya! He doesn't want he sons and his little girl to get they're first heartbreak." Elisha shrugged.
"Can you stop calling me his 'little girl'? He has other daughters to u'know." "I know but, you were his first which means you'll always be his little girl." Jacob smirked and Ashlynn turned away and snuggled into Aiden's chest. As I was about to continue eating I realized that Amy was still here and was making a disgusted face with a hint of jealousy. "Ew I'm surrounded by love and couples while I'm just here being single." She whined and honestly it was funny. "You had a choice to come, like I said before we left 'I'm going to go see Ashlynn, you can come if you want.' And you said 'Sure! I'll come!'" "Well how was I supposed to know that Emyusona was gonna be here? I thought the only couple would've been just you and Ashlynn!" Emyusona looked up and looked offended. "What's that supposed to mean?" He exclaimed holding his heart, "I'm saying you're a super horny person and its weird being around you." She deadpanned and everyone immediately started laughing like there was no tomorrow. "Damn! She called you out!" Elisha yelled almost falling off of the log we were sitting on.
Emyusona ran over to Amy and playfully put her in a headlock, not too hard though because she would instantly start freaking out. "H-Hey! You can't be mad at me for speaking the truth!" She exclaimed hitting his arm. "That is not true about me right Jacob." Jacob's eyes widened and he turned his head away not wanting to answer. "Jacob! You're talking their side!?" Emyusona yelled while falling onto the floor dramatically. "No! It's like- half true and half not that's all!" Jacob laughed.
Then my phone started ringing and when I looked I saw that it was dad. "Hello?" All I could hear is muffles so I put a finger in my other ear to hear better. "I'm sorry dad could you repeat that? It's kinda loud over here." "I said, me and your mom have good news so please come home as soon as you can." "Ok, like now?" "No, whenever you want just before curfew. Stay and hang out with your friends." I smiled and did a small fist bump, my mom would never let me do this. She'd be all like ''You need to come home now'' or "You'll see your friends tomorrow." "Thanks dad. Love you." "Love you too." I put my phone in my pocket and sighed. What could be so important and so exciting for them to call me about it? I decided to not think about and enjoy the moment.

As we all said our goodbyes I head home. As soon as I opened the door I felt a hand pull me in. "Took you long enough!" Kami shouted. "God do you always have to be so loud and annoying?" I murmured and she must've heard me 'cuz she gasped and I immediately covered my mouth. "Wait- Kami I didn't mean that!" Be she didn't say anything she just walked away and headed towards the living room where mom and dad were. Being scared of Kami is a curse. "There you are Adrien! Come sit down!" Mom exclaimed and she seemed happier than usual.
"So what's the good news." I asked sitting down on the couch. "Well, your mom and I are having another baby!" "WHAT!?" Kami and I yelled unanimously. "Am I finally gonna have a little brother!?" I asked excitedly. I've always wanted to have a little brother so I could have someone other than my friends to talk to. "Well you guys are having..."
"A little sister!"
And at that was the moment that my world instantly shattered into millions of pieces.
Life as I knew it was gone.
